This is the worst Post Office in the area. The lines are always long. When the line is short the clerks take even longer to serve you. This Post Master should be reassigned and a new competent one put in their place. This post office has been this way for 25 years. Is this where they send the worst employees? The joke is on us! Just FYI for folks: This location may show up as a self-service kiosk open until 7pm on Saturdays. As of July 2022, it closes at 5pm, and the Self-Service station is NOT accessible at all.
Can one of the workers please read this! Whenever I drop off a package inside that has a prepaid shipping label. It takes a week for the tracking to update. The workers aren’t scanning all the packages, and it’s causes my business to suffer! Please scan them, I have 4 packages right now where I’ve been waiting over a week for the tracking to update
Every single time I drop packages off they are never scanned as accepted. It’s as if they just grab the packages and throw them in a box and send them away. The tracking never updates and these tracking numbers are very important to me. But it seems these workers are lazy and don’t even scan them, because when I bring them to other post offices a day later the tracking updates and says it was accepted but the last 10 packages I’ve brought here tracking never updates until they’re delivered. I’ve had customer demanding refunds because of this. PLEASE SCAN THE PACKAGES
Wait time in line here is horrible! Not one postal rep asked anyone in line which went out the door by the way, about mobile kiosk or anyone for just pickup to shorten the line. Management needs to be more involved, especially during closing hours.
It's the Post Office and they do Thier best. Considering the Volume that's done daily they do a good job. Try using the Post Office in a Foreign County and you'll see how much we can appreciate them.
Lobby Hours 7.00 am but they never open Lobby at 7.00 am ... to have access to PO Box. Have to wait until they want to open the doors.... Very poor service... We pay lots of money for PO Box. But still lazy workers at El Sobrante post office forget about their Lobby Hours.. Very Disappointed !!
Really frustrating. Its been twice that our landlord calls us to say that hes hasn't received our rent.we personally put it inside in the mailbox so it wont get lost.and look at this how is it possible for our money order to get lost from inside..what kind of business is this loosing the mail
The staff are great. They seem short-staffed and maybe, when lines are long, people from the back could come forward and help out.
This is a busy location, if you're not there early most likely you'll be in a long line, there's usually only 2 cashiers working and the supervisor who will help with pick-ups but not cashiering is there too so the cashiers work by the book asking questions about side sales once they're done with your requested transaction i.e. "would you like stamps blahblahblah...here's your receipt take this survey blahblahblah" sheesh! It is very slow, the workers are older also so that contributes to the slug line. They do have a decent stock of post office items, its a convienient location but its TOO convienient . The service is good but people prefer a in and out establishment and this location is NOT that.
