I placed a to-go order for Texas Fajitas with no beans and extra rice and gave them a hour for my pickup time. Picked up food at the appointed time. When I got to my hotel, I discovered no rice I was charged for extra and no fajita fixings lettuce, cheese, sour cream, guacamole - all things stated on the menu. Received a bag of chips, fajitas meats, Tortillas. Okay, people make mistakes. So I call the restaurant and the woman that took my order proceeds to call me a liar over lettuce and rice! I replied "okay, so you're calling me a liar, thanks, I'll leave an appropriate review." She then hangs up on me. I'll also be contacting my credit card company for a refund since she chose not to handle it properly! UPDATE: I'm not positive, but I may have gotten food poisoning from the fajitas as well. Didn't go to the hospital, but spent 36 hours on the toilet with gastrointestinal issues and stomach pain. ABSOLUTELY wouldn't go back here or recommend to anyone else...
Always a good experience and never leave hungry. Only gave 4 stars because we had ordered Oysters on the half shell that were not chilled properly, so we're not very tasty.Food: 4/5
Really tasty food, OWNED BY CON ARTISTS! I've ordered takeout from this place twice now, and twice the bill was way more than it should have been. I looked at the menu while waiting for my order, I did the math, and my order both times after taxes should have only been somewhere around $27, and yet each time, they charged me over $32. When I asked for a receipt so I could see what the charges were, the man said sure and printed the same receipt that I signed for the credit card. For those who do not know, these receipts do not list the items or prices for each. I don't know if this is something they just do for people who order takeout or if it something that happens to people who dine in as well. LASTLY, I ordered ahead so I could get the food on my lunch break. When I got to the restaurant about 25 minutes later, I ended up standing there waiting for nearly 25 additional minutes. By then, my lunch break was nearly over, and I had to eat it on my drive back! What was the hold up; I have no idea. I do know that while I waited, I observed several staff including the manager standing around, in various locations, on their phones while guests in the dining room looked around for their servers. I could overhear a few of them getting upset about it.
Food was awesome! The band was a bit much when trying to have a conversation with my partner but was an experience and they did a great job. I ordered a mango marg that never made it us as well as an order of queso that our waitress tried to charge us for that we never received. They were really busy though as it was Monthers day and every other place in town seemed to closed for some unknown reason. Overall I would recommend the food, the service was ok considering the waitress didn't write any of it down and tried charging for items we didn't receive so just be aware if you order anything Additional that you may have to pester them to actually get it. Double check your receipt but like I said that could also have been just a fluke because of it being packed. Delicious food tho!
The food and the people were amazing. Would highly recommend coming hereFood: 5/5
Everyone enjoyed the food as usual! Not sure what I was eating because it wasn't what I ordered. Very tasty but not able to recommend by name! Food: 5/5
We live in about a half hour away...if you are in the mood for Mexican food it is worth the drive to come here.
Food was great, queso was delicious, staff was friendly, and the place was clean! We'll definitely be back!!Food: 5/5
Just tried El Sol for the first time today. I will give it a 5 out of 5! The salsa is amazing & the queso is great. I had the lunch fajitas in my husband had the lunch carnitas, amazing! Would highly recommend
It was ok... The food was not like it used to be... Refried beans were like soup and the salsa was bland, probably won't be back...Tapatios beats then my far!Food: 3/5
