We always enjoy visiting El Torito and this location doesn't disappoint. The food portions are a nice, large size and the atmosphere is festive!
Good Food Decenct Price... Drinks are a bit overpriced. Bartender/Server seemed to be more concerned about his chores getting done early than the Quality of our 1st Time experience there. Felt hurried And rushed with minimal amount of caring, interaction or smiling.
Service in the bar tonight Thursday very good. Only did chips salsa and soup. Chips were stale. Soup good. My biggest complaint is the tank smell to the restrooms. It's been there for years. We know there are problems but as a company improving their menu and staff please improve your plumbing system. I get it's a strip mall but you are a restaurant establishment and we want to eat where it's not overtaken by a raunch smell. Let me reiterate for years this has been an issue
For happy hour this place was out of ALL beer on draft except Coors Light. The waitress asked the manager if I could get a discount on Pacifico bottles. Manager said nope - bottles will remain their price. That 12 oz bottle is way more than the happy hour 16 oz pint price. At least match the 12 oz price to the 16 oz price for happy hour. I was pretty disappointed and the manager didn’t care.
The food and margaritas are very sub-par, not exciting to eat or drink at all. Only reason they get 2 stars rather than 1 is because the waitress was very pleasant. We had a reservation, and it still took them 10 minutes to seat us.
Can only give it 3 stars: this rating is based solely on the bar area and happy hour food. Our waitress was great, adorable: 5 stars. The habaneros sliders, also good: 4 stars. The atmosphere: 2 stars, because it's kinda depressing. Seems outdated and dingy. I drink wine and the only choices are chard and cab: unacceptable! Overall: 3
The food is ok, the wait staff is good, but my husband and I had our first date there 30 years ago when it was La Fiesta but I don't think they've remodeled since, and it's in desperate need of at least a good cleaning! Carpets are filthy, makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. It's a shame, it could be so nice. They still seem to have a booming business though.
The food was as good as it normally is but our service was amazing. We had Haven and I have never had someone that was so attentive. She checked on us regularly and kept everything filled and tip top. I will specifically ask for her when I go back. THANKS HAVEN!!
We went there for my niece birthday. They were not anywhere near busy it took them about 10 minutes to seat us party of 6.The food was hot but they got 1/2 of our orders wrong and had to send them back. Won't be going there again. I can't imagine what would have happened if it had been at least a 5th full. Unless there was seating somewhere else at 1st we were the only ones there
The food was great!!! We had to ask for menus. Portions were plenty. Other patrons in restaurant using foul language and estanlishment did not feel the need to ask them to quit or keep the noise down. But food was great.
