This restaurant is the best authentic Mexican restaurant I’ve been to! Out waiter was very gracious, kind and he was very patient and helping me choose what I should order off of the menu. It was a very peaceful and lively environment and I will be back very soon. Parking: There are decent amount of parking spots. Dietary restrictions: They have a very expensive menu full of vegetarian/vegan options.
Didn't even eat a chip or place an order. We were greeted with attitude and were given chips with attitude. I've never walked out of a restaurant before ordering. It was like they didnt want us there. We work around the corner and won't be back. No excuse for treating customers that way. As a business owner I don't give one star reviews out lightly. This one was earned.
So much food, everyone gave me their leftovers at our table. Added shrimp to the spinach quesadilla. Very tasty.Recommended dishesChips and Salsa
Went with my workers on a bus trip. Plenty of food and drinks for everyone. We visited during happy hour so the prices were very economical. I've had take out a few times as well on previous trips and always seem to return.Food: 5/5
The taco week tacos and margaritas were good. I strongly recommend the carnitas taco with mango pineapple salsa. The enchiladas were also solid. Service was lacking but that maybe a off night or side affect of COVID restrictions. We'll certainly give it another try.
If youre looking for good mexican food, service, and atmosphere just come here. I got the 153. Spice lvl, sauce amt, and temperature is perfect. A plus regarding drinks is they also have coffee Parking: Goes one way wrapping around building
This place is amazing! It's one of the cleanest and nicest Mexican restaurants I've ever been into. Food is above par as well. Great service, great food, and great atmosphere! They also have really good happy hour deals! If you love Margaritas or even if you don',t when you see one, you will want one!
We chose El Vaquero over the other Mexican restaurants in the area because we have enjoyed the one in Columbus many times. L Pro: -- We were able to sit outside--in fact right on the railing so we had plenty of fresh air and space to ourselves; Cons: --When we were finally greeted by a server the first thing I noticed was that he had a significant amount of black matter under almost every fingernail. Further, he was not wearing a mask; --Speaking of masks, it was not uncommon to see servers without them or with them pulled under their noses. --We're used to being served chip and dips immediately, but this server asked--twice--if we wanted them and then there was a significant delay before we got them; --Our server's command of the English language was quite limited, and as such he needed help from another person whom we assumed was the manager; And it obviously wasn't just us--when a nearby table of six had difficulty with each of their bills. --We had to ask multiple times for chips/dip as well as water. We wanted extra napkins but gave up on that. --Nothing was cleared fro our table during the meal until iI finally stacked thing up and put the at the edge of the table. --Most disappointing was the bland food and weak Margaritas--especially we ordered a $25 pitcher. As mentioned previously, we eat at the Columbus brank often and their service and food/drink; --The woman's bathroom was designed for one person at a time which could be problematic on a busy weekend. For as few of people who were there I would expect it to be cleaner, but the floor was littered wit scraps of paper and the seat had been urinated on. Finally, there wasn't a hook or anything else on which to hang one's person. Thus, one had to hold it on her lap or put it on dirty floor. Suggestions: 1. The manager needs to inspect her/his employees before the shift start--for things like hygiene especially under the nails, 2. The manager needs to instruct and demonstrate the proper way to wear masks and gloves--which need to be changed often likewise, they need to be taught not to touch their face/hair. If it happens automatically to chance gloves, was hands and tart ver v 3. The woman's bathroom needs to be checked and spruced up requarly 4, Something needs to do something to update the taste of the tired dishes they're serving now. I wouldn't care to eat there again.
Food was amazing, the atmosphere was so welcoming and good designed. We will definitely go back thereFood: 5/5
Solid Mexican food. The service is a bit "rushed" at peak times understandably, but always polite. The food is very good and there is an outdoor seating area. Go and enjoy!
