Excellent tap-and-go 125 Kw fast chargers just off Junction 11 on M40 next to the Premier inn. There are currently 8 chargers and they are installing 8 more. There's a Costa coffee that often is drive thru only and doesn't accept dogs! Silly them. The fast chargers are the only reliable ones in Banbury.
Great when they allow usage on the fast chargers, they accept your credit card min £30 then it doesn't charge?? Waste of valuable time as you can imagine! So not overly impressed hopefully I will get my monies back.
Doing my first long business road trip and came across this awesome looking EV electric charging point park. Used this InstaVolt charging station today. On arrival 9 of the 16 were being used. Reliable very fast charge. the Costa Coffee is not just drive through, so a quick coffee, and use of their toilets. Excellent.
Very good. Great location and having 16 chargers means you have confidence that you are going to be able to get a very fast charge without having to queue. Used this twice over 24 hours and it made a long drive south and north feasible.
Love these chargers. Getting to nearly 100kw/h I think that there are more than 10 charging stations at the site so I have always found a space. A Costa nearby is a good bonus. Just noticed they are building a load more chargers alongside. Happy days
I don't have a electric vehicle but I was at the side of the motorway having lost water from my vehicle on 26/10/22 and a instavolt driver reg DY70HBJ asked if everything was ok having to stop due to a accident further up the motorway,I told him that I needed water and he gave me a large bottle to help me.
Used the Banbury Instavolt twice yesterday to and from London. Just really easy and reliable. Nicest Instavolt we have come across thus far. Site quite well used but with 16 devices we did not queue. Warning.. The Costa next door shuts at 20:00 certainly for sit-in.
I stop here quite a bit when on the M40. Always plenty of chargers and a Costa beside it. Never any problems and easy to find. There’s a McDonald’s a mile up the road if you want to extend the stay a bit longer and stretch the legs.
Easy. Had a Costa while I charged. V quick too. Works best with RFID card. Lots of people in having issues just using the app
