Been getting my nails here for 5 years and have been meaning to give a review! I typically get a full set from Dina and pedicure from either Daniel, Mary or Jenny! The shop is always clean and all the employees are super nice and gentle! I also always get a Bambu drink before or afterwards … it’s conveniently next door
Very disappointed!! I called to set up an appointment and my appointment was set up for 6pm the same day. I show up at 6pm and someone quickly asked me what I was there for and I replied I had an appointment at 6pm with Helen and then there was silence. I then decided to take a seat and wait in hopes that Helen would call me soon. Nonetheless 20 minutes go by and no one has called my name nor has made any efforts to let me know they may be running behind, etc. I had to get up and ask how much longer it would be considering I had an appointment and then was taken to the side by Helen. There was a bunch of excuses that they forgot to take my number down, the women she's working on is doing extra long nails and that someone else could help me. I told her it was disappointing and I don't understand why they take an appointment and are not prepared. I don't mind waiting a few minutes but 20 minutes past my alotted appointment time is not customer service. Imagine if I was a customer who didn't live in Sunnyvale and may of had to get through traffic or drive a long way to get there and then to just be turned away or not accommodated, is just infuriating. I feel they need to be more conscious of the times they're setting for appointments and if they are do-able or not before wasting their time and a customers time. Nonetheless this isn't the first time I've seen them do this to various people.
I came to this place because the reviews but I had the worst experience in this place!!! The lady was charging me 90 dollars for a job that is no more then 75! She did not cut my cuticles! My nails where cricket I had glue all over my fingers honestly the worst job! When I said it was to much for 90 she said you have a license started screaming got up and throw the tawel On the table . She started talking in her language honestly I felt so bad for the treatment and the job never ever going here again! Don’t recommend at least not her! At the end I ended up paying 80 but I still think is to much
Not a good experience! The guy tried to upscale me to a higher pedicure and because I declined he did a very minimal job. He just left me sitting after he applied the polish and went to another customer. They kept all obvious talking about me in their language and made me feel very uncomfortable. Mediocre job overall.
This place is a joke. I called in three separate times for an appointment and told to “just come” even though I didn’t make an appointment, only to be told “sorry we can’t take anyone” once I arrived within 15 minutes. I’m livid and so disappointed with them. I’ve been coming to them for years and will be seeking business elsewhere from this point on.
I tried 3 other nail salons before I found this place one year ago. I tried this place because of the reviews, just like the others. There are 3 technicians here I’ve personally had experience with, and are damn good at what they do. Helen, Jenny, and Mary. I’ve had a couple who I’ve tried and will never let them touch me again. 2 of them I haven’t seen for several months. What I pay here for a basic acrylic fill, and gel Polish btw, is nominal compared to what I’ve paid in the area for the same. Only to walk out with chemical burns, ripped skin, and nails that lifted within a week multiple times. Mary is the owner of this place. In my experience if one of her tech’s makes a mistake, she will fix it if given the chance. It’s too bad when someone writes a bad review but doesn’t give the business a chance to fix the problem. My advice is this: Make your appointments as far in advance as you can. If you’re unhappy, let Mary know so she can fix the problem. Then try another technician. When you finally find your go to, use Google translator if you have to, talk to them. They’re human too and trying to make it in a very tough economy, just like everyone else. Ask how you can make an appointment just with them. And TIP VERY WELL, they work long hours and are around harsh chemicals all day. Be kind, be reasonable, and give good reviews too. Someone’s livelihood is at stake. All the bad reviews, if you look at the profiles, are by people who mostly seem to only post bad reviews. And there was no chance for redemption. If you made a mistake, wouldn’t you like the opportunity to fix it? My go to nail tech here, will bend over backwards to get me in when I ask, and my fills last 3 WEEKS! The photo I added I asked her to take so I could post my long overdue review.
One of my favorite nail salons in the area. I go there for my periodic Mani-Pedis. They are clean, the technicians are friendly and professional. I especially like the hot wax pedicure. However, you should know that: 1 The nail technicians don’t have the same expertise levels. I’ve had the best experience skill, creativity & attention to details with Mary. I’ve witnessed some other technicians mess up a few pedicures. 2 I don’t believe nail art is their strongest suit here. So if you’re looking for a very creative manicure design, please do your research!
Wonderful super special pedicure with great smells, sluffing calluses, leg scrub jell, hot rock massage. Totally great! Thanks
Love this place! Super clean and great quality for an affordable price. The staff is very friendly and accommodating as well. Asked for my gel manicure really short as a personal preference and they totally obliged and gave me a great shape. They give great pedicures as well. They accept appointments over the phone but are nice with walk ins too. Tons of gel polish colors!
