Woodworking, sewing, book arts, fiber arts, photography, painting, drawing and more.
To inspire lifelong learning in craftsmanship and creativity for all.
We offer classes year-round for all ages in our Jamaica Plain schoolhouse. Classes include woodworking, upholstery and furniture; sewing, fashion and fiber arts; book arts; painting, drawing, photography, and mixed media. We are known for our excellent instruction, small class size, welcoming atmosphere, and the charm of our historic site.
Our School Partnership Program sends artists and artisans to teach woodworking and visual arts at Boston public schools and community sites, both after school and during the school day.
Each year, we teach 1,500 people in our schoolhouse, and over 1,200 children at public schools and community sites, in Kindergarten through 8th grade.
