I’m Sam Derr the instructor for Elite Food Safety Training. I’ve worked in the food industry for several years. My professional chef training came from the California Sushi Academy where I learned the physical and mental pressures of running a restaurant.
I studied for my certifications to become a certified ServSafe instructor and proctor during my chef’s training. I learned very quickly with the extremely demanding need within the food industry for great tasting food there was a greater need for effective food safety training that’s why I established Elite Food Safety Training where food safety is our #1 priority.
