It was a nice place for camping and we were also allowed to camp on the stage of it as we were wondering if it'd rain that night. There's a rivulet by the park which is super cool and the sound of birds/insects add to the ambience of the place. It'd have been even better if the bathroom was open for us. It wasn't. Overall it's pretty good!
A very cool green space set within the downtown district. Ample pavilion space for gatherings. Serene setting being next to police station gives the feeling of added security.
Tiny little park. No playground. Large open grassy field and very nice little walking path. Path extend across the town of to want to fallow it.
This is a really cute little park to watch fireworks or have a picnic at, beside the babbling brook, under the falling leaves. Quiet, in a historic district, and very pretty. Under some improvements as of my visit on 11/4/17, so mind the construction areas.
After a day of driving we were looking for a park for stretching our legs. We found Elizabeth Brown to be a very pretty pocket park with nice walkways and picnic tables, a pretty stream, and nice shady landscaping.
What a beautiful park in the middle of Wytheville, an easy walk blending the community with nature, right down to the sounds of a gentle flowing stream. Any season it's the right reason for a walk.
