Elk Grove Riding Club, LLC is located on beautiful Camano Island, Washington. We are a small private Hunter Jumper Training stable who strives to provide top quality professional service in a relaxed atmosphere with a strong emphasis on safety.
The goal of EGRC is to run a small and all-inclusive training program. We pride ourselves on being an intimate training stable that emphasizes quality over quantity. We specifically chose the location of the farm because it would allow us to stay true to our vision of a small stable.
This will allow us to help each client to maximize their training experience. We also strive to make horse ownership easy for the busy owner by providing full-service grooming and having the peace of mind that if your schedule does not allow you make it to a scheduled lesson that your horse will be schooled by a trainer.

Janet Jones - Owner/Trainer
Janet has been working as a professional since 2000. She spent her early years in Southern California learning from some of the best professionals in the industry including George Meyer and Gail Ross along with their daughter Jennifer Meyer. This has allowed her to develop what is best described as old-fashioned horsemanship. She shows in both the AA-rated Hunter and Jumper divisions locally as well as competing at the large California shows such as Hits Thermal, The Oaks and Showpark, Menlo.
Craig Jones - Owner/Manager
Craig graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2004 with a degree in industrial technology and spent years working in commercial insurance. With his previous experience of working closely with a broad array businesses and his love of the outdoors and horses, he is a vital part of having the stable running smoothly. This background allows him to analyze risk, therefore increasing the safety of our horses and clients.
Craig runs the business side of the stable as well as overseeing employees and vendors. His attention to detail is what allows the barn to be maintained meticulously and run professionally!
