Suicide Prevention.
Elkhart County Suicide Prevention Coalition provides an 8-hour training course that will teach you how to spot warning signs and help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental crisis, risk factors for depression, anxiety, trauma and disorders. Certified trainers will provide information on a five-step action plan to address the person in crisis and involve professional help.
The Elkhart County Suicide Prevention Coalition regularly publishes articles to inform, inspire and offer hope to those considering death by suicide, family members affected by a past event, and community members concerned about the issue.
