This place is the worst. This is from many different sources let alone my own experience. The school has an administration that crack down hard on students they think are doing bad things.aka profiling But on the other side of the spectrum only get there happy smile out of the bag if your popular and or a sports star. Given the fact that my middle school principal Mr. Rigert Elkhorn Vally view's current principal was probably one of the greatest principals in the history of my schooling career, I came to this school with a large amount of lee way for the administration. But they deeply sank under the appropriate amount of disappointment and disapproval. But sadly that is not all, the true anger and all around discomfort is that I believe that Mr. Kalvoda and Mrs. Cox have never once taught a student in there life and I am sure if you asked them to teach it would be one after another excuses as to why they are too busy to teach students THE REASON THEY ARE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE but the real reason is because they have forgotten and simply don't have the will or know how of how to teach any more. But hey let's not stop there let's also talk about the counselors who "always have your best interest in mind". Well that's not quite the case either. Even thought they do have to deal with the students more often they still only have one thing in mind the schools well being. They make you feel foolish if you just simply do not wish to go to college, they allow very pushy and rather untrustworthy colleges to try to brain wash the students into spending thousands of dollars on an education that they will simply not have a chance to use. Oh yeah to top it off the counseling center and the administration have a very hard time deciding what to do if you wish to expand your interests in a foreign exchange. But is is not all bad most if not all of the educators excluding the money and status driven ones listed above seem to care deeply about learning and helping you with your growing education. They will give there time to help and also many are willing to stay late and help you if you are in trouble. From that point of view this school deserves and an plus. But this substantial bonus in the tally of good and bad is only shot down by the worlds most idiotic and completely hectic parking lot/ drive way situation. Not only was a girl hit because of this poorly thought out and rather dangerous oversight. There is also a huge problem with time and access for student pick up. If a freshman or any student needs a ride likely hood is even if there parent or ride is there they will be stuck waiting for at lest 35 minutes. Oh and if you drive to school you are stuck in the parking lot for maybe 25 minutes and if you plan on waiting, think again, you will be waiting 35 minutes at least and finally getting to wait in traffic for 15 minutes. This place is not the worst but is is far and not even close to the so called ranking that the administration give it. Oh and just in case they do read this there are many things....that I have come up with that will not destroy the school's image and will fix the parking lot. First a bridge over the huge cluster of teenage hormonal drivers with a need for speed or how about MAKING ANOTHER EXIT Like in the field that we don't use! or at the very least a crossing guard. - and hey I will even let you have those for free. Not the three million they others would charge!!
Excellent school and wonderful teachers. We have 2 there now who are honor students. They are being challenged academically and enjoying the whole high school experience at ESHS!
Great school! Great teachers who care about the kids. New facilities. Well supported by the parents and the community.
Solid 1 Star. Administration tried to crack down on small things instead of actually doing their job. Should try and make smaller classes cuz most people just play on there phones. Oof.
