Elkin Public Library is a member of the Northwestern Regional Library serving Alleghany, Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin counties.
The Elkin Public Library offers books, audios, videos, and e-books for circulation to its library card holders. Ten public computers are offered for Internet access and use of wordprocessing, spreadsheet, and publishing softwares. A black and white (10 cents/side) and color (50 cents/side) photocopier is available. A fax machine is available at 50 cents/page.
