Although I’ve heard of the restaurant before, I happened upon it by chance today. I was immediately greeted and sat as soon as I entered the restaurant. The server was very friendly and accommodating. I was delighted to learn that meals were served with three sides. I ordered yams, greens and Mac/cheese. I found all to be tasty but the greens were a bit salty. I crumbled the sweet corn muffin in them and the flavor balanced out. I ordered the fried chicken as my entree, it was not as flavorful as I’d expected, an the breast was a bit dry. The fried chicken dinner came with three pieces of your choosing, with an up charge for all white. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Overall I enjoyed my meal and the great service…I’ll be back.

I set outside of the store for about 5 minutes reading reviews. I was unsure if I wanted to go inside. I finally said let me go try it for myself. I have been wanting to try for a while but never went. I really enjoyed the food. I have no complaints. I will be going soon!Food: 5/5

First restaurant I went to when I got to Vegas. Not the first time here, but again, when I come here the food never disappoints. Had the fried Red Snapper with Potato Salad and Macaroni and Cheese and everything was hot delicious.Food: 5/5

Great food and service I will definitely be back flavor is on point I had the oxtail, green, and black eyed Peas everything was seasoned so well, my husband had the pork chops they were so tender and seasoned as well best soul food in Vegas by far thanks to my son and daughter in law getting us to go they swear on this place and thank God cause I'm now in love with the place

I www craving some good old soul food and hubby took me to Ella Emma’s and I was not disappointed. The sign clearly says that food is prepared on order so please be patient! It was worth the wait. The food was amazing and AllenI hope I spelt your name correctly was a sweetheart. They took care of us and always made sure we were good. I seen another table who was giving them a hard time however they handled it with great customer service and the fact they weren’t left a tip but left a mess was so disappointing. It is not easy especially in the food business but I commend them for staying professional. Definitely going back!! THANK you Allen. See you soon sweetie

Hey Everyone, When in Las Vegas and looking for some of y’all Mama and Grandma’s southern comfort soul food the real stuff EllaEm’s Soul Food is a must try! Our waiter Allen was friendly and attentive and helpful and had a great customer service appeal!!! All of the food on the menu looked so delicious My brother lives here and told me it’s must try and he was absolutely right! The Beef Ox Tails are so tender and delicious. The southern fried Catfish was yummy cooked too perfection alone with Candied Yams Mac & Cheese, Ted Beans and Rice. Plus a order of Cajun Grilled Shrimp over delicious Grits and a order of the Fried Chicken and Waffles and scrambled eggs plus sweet southern Ice Tea. We walked out stuffed happy and satisfied Thank you Allen and I will surely spread the word about your establishment and the great food and southern hospitality you have thanks

First time here the waitress was nice, friendly and very attentive. The restaurant is small on the inside but the food definitely was worth the wait . The chicken and waffles was perfect and they cooked my eggs just how I like them. I also ordered the 3 side combo to go with my home cooked Oxtails- greens mixed with cabbage, mac n cheese and red beans and rice. I will say the rice and beans were a bit dry but had a flavorful taste, if that make sense. Overall, I had a great first experience and will definitely visit again, soon .

Allen the Manager was superb as was the team of Jay, April and Nicole. The food was off the chain. I give yall a 12 out of 10. We will definitely be back.Food: 5/5

The food here is amazing, when your looking for a good ol grandma's soul food Sunday dinner go here. And the Kool aid taste just like when you was a kid thirsty. Vegetarian options: They have a plate just with sides and cornbread no meat.
