We traveled here to dump our tanks. The dump station is large with both potable and non potable water hoses. The fee was extremely reasonable at $6.50. The ranger was very friendly and helpful. We drove around the park. The sites looked large and private with plenty of trees. We hope to camp here next summer.
Wow such great hospitality at the park. The park ranger was awesome. She made a few calls to find out the status of the roads and if The Islands was open. She helped us to avoid the detour on route 103 and gave us helpful details on the condition of route 203. We are most grateful to her ! Restrooms: The showers were hot but did not have much water pressure .
Totally impressed. We spent 5 wonderful days at Ellenwood Lake. Our campsite was incredible. We explored the park and noticed that all sites were a little different but perfectly wooded and private. The lake was very warm and clean as were the washrooms and showers. We can't wait to go back.
The beach was very nice, lots of trees around the camp sites. I only gave it a 4 because the wood sold at the camp should be dryer, and the hand sanitizer in the outhouses and washrooms should be checked/verified more often. For you Geocachers the area has a few caches in the park.
Beautiful sandy bottom lake. Awesome for kids because its not really deep. They have created a nice beach area as well. There are change rooms and bathrooms on site. As well as kayak and canoe rentals. It is a beautiful place to spend the day with family
Amazing! Our neighbours were extremely loud when we went, but other than that the park was clean and beautiful!
Nicely treed. Variety of small to med sized sites. Many with water and electricity. Nice small beach on lake with pebbly sand. Lots of bird songs. If you want solar, choose site carefully as many are tree covered while others have plenty of sun.
This is my childhood camp ground have been going here for years always have a good time with nice scenes and swimming
I stayed at site 60 in May 2022. It rained, so not the best time. Park was nice.
Great park! Many sites have their own little path to the lake. Varied site sizes, tiny to huge. The beach is spotless with picnic tables and accessable pit toilets. One of the best maintained provincial parks that we've stayed at. Hats off to the staff.
