HORRIBLE....If I could I'd leave negative stars... front desk staff needs to go back to customer service 101... annual physical is free with our insurance provider...still receiving a bill for a Copay... Rude when trying to schedule an appointment...hours on the website are either incorrect or they don't have a clue what hours they're open. They think people can just accommodate them as they don't have jobs .we're both finding a new primary care provider and clearly Ellis doesn't care because this isn't the first negative review...and stop blaming the pandemic for their rudeness it's just common courtesy and they should do their job correctly
I used to like this office but it’s definitely gone downhill. I’ve been in pain in a daily basis, they got me seen quickly and gave me a script for an X-ray which I got done the same day as my appointment. However, this was over a week ago and I have called multiple times for my results. The most recent time was this past Friday morning and I was told that was the last day my provider would be there before taking the following week off so I “might not get my results for awhile”. I asked if there was another provider who could read them to me, was put on hold then told my provider would try to look at them and call when they got a chance. That never happened so now I’m stuck waiting a minimum of two weeks for X-ray results that should have taken no more than a day to be read back to me after they received them. Meanwhile I can barely move my back, work a job that requires I be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs and have no drs note stating whether I can actually lift or not. I completely understand taking time off, what I don’t understand is not making sure your patients are given their results prior to that time off, or passed off to another provider during that absence.
LOVE my doctor. The support staff however has gone from great to absolutely horrendous now. I don’t know what happened. But the one girl at the front desk is just flat out rude. I don’t know how she is still employed there. It makes me sad because I REALLY don’t want to switch to a different doctors office because I have been with my provider for years because he’s great but that woman really makes everyone’s experience miserable. It’s sad how one person can bring an entire establishment down. I just keep praying she moves along!
This used to be a very nice, friendly, helpful office. Unfortunately, I have nothing good to say. Please find another option for you and your family. They cancelled twice on me for a pre-op and I had to cancel my surgery. They are not flexible nor helpful. The office staff lacks professionalism. Over the past few years, it has been a revolving door for physicians. I wonder why?
This place is absolutely unprofessional, the neglect and abandon patients that are in need of care. Hoping this is resolved soon for the sake of others.
I was on time to my appointment, had to wait in line to be checked in for 20 minutes then Amanda Belles refused to see me even after it was explained it was not my fault and I was in fact on time. This place used to be awesome, now it’s literally a waste of time out of your day.
The “ Doctor “ I seen did the bare minimum. All she did was refill my prescription. She ignored my issue regarding my anxiety medication not working and insisted I keep taking it as if it’s proven to work and something I’m doing was wrong. This medicine isn’t medically proven to treat anxiety, it’s off label so it may or may not “ work”. Anyways I had to call to remind her to put in an important referral to a neurologist which she delayed 2 weeks. No wonder the reviews here are so low. Who would want someone as a doctor who doesn’t even care about them as a human and probably just views them as patient # 274920 because that’s the impression I got here.
Dana NP, who I saw is amazing. I have been with my fiance in the evening and everyone is more relaxed and there are no attitudes. But I went for my first appointment and it was insane. I would suggest going in the afternoon or late afternoon for better service and experience. However, if you speak to someone about a bad experience they take it serious. It is really nice and refreshing to know that. It makes me feel like the next time I go back it will be better. Give this place a try. If you have a bad experience talk to a higher upper in the business. The nurses and Dana are worth it!
Went in for a Annual checkup in February of 2020. Appointment was billed to my insurance incorrectly and they were charging me $400 dollars for a preventative visit. I called their billing department and was assured by three different reps the issue would be taken care of and a supervisor would contact me. I was also assured since my account was on hold it would not get sent to collections Doug from finance was wonderful and got this fixed up for me and retracted the debt from the collection agency. He is the only reason this previous 1 star review has increased to 4 stars.
I absolutely love Dr.Kahn, but the office staff is horrible and will be the reason I find another doctor
