This little place is a great lunch spot. Their steak sub is one of my favorites in town. Their fries have a seasoning on them that I love and are always fresh. They are always friendly, even when swamped. Food comes out quickly and I've never had them get something wrong. Try the crab cake sandwich too!Food: 5/5
This place is so good, excellent food and priced well. Would definitely recommend. If you are ever in High Point this is where you want to be.
Best Gyros and steak subs around. A little pricey for a lunch cafe but the food is top notch. Been eating here for 12 years plus and never been disappointed. Everything I've tried has been good and portion size is good as well. Usually reasonable quick service and they do a lot of takeout/delivery.
1st time there. I was a bit confused as to order or sit down. The food came quickly and was fresh and well prepared. Good food, quite a bargain. I'll be back.
I could be wrong here, but this is a retroactive review of the fondness I had for this restaurant when I lived in High Point many years ago. If this is the same place, it was known as Mr Gyro or something like that back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. I used to work nearby on W. Green and would have lunch quite a bit. The gyros were great as were the fries and they made real milkshakes. I don't know if this is the same place--so much has changed in High Point but I remember it being close by and on Elm St--or if it is owned by the same family, but I sure did love eating here way back in those days when I was a little bit thinner, had dark hair, and was on the better side of 30.
Elm Street is one of my favorite lunch spots in town. They are quick, have a diverse menu, and a friendly staff. The Buffalo chicken wrap is my go to!
Me and a friend ate from here for lunch. I loved my steak fajita and my friend noted the bacon cheeseburger was quite savory. We enjoyed and had fairly quick service for our call-in order. Will definitely eat here again.
Really great quality! Good portions! Fresh!!! Lettuce wasn't from a week ago but fresh! Tomatoes were perfect. I may have had the perfect sub from here! Really recommend
This was the fist place I ate at in high point, and it felt like a warm welcome to town. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and Fries, as suggested by the young lady serving. seasoned and delicious,, tasted fresh and came out steaming hot. Hats off to the chef and his assistant.
I ordered a Turkey and Cheese and the cook made it hot. My sisters was also hot with fries. I do not like hot Turkey and cheese it’s a deli sandwich. They also added French fries so I should of went to subway, which I eventually did. Just be specific when ordering.Dine in: Yes
