My loved one passed away suddenly and my family and I live in a different state so we wanted to make sure that a clean and loving funeral home was going to be responsible for their final wishes. Thankfully we chose Elmont Funeral Home. Everyone we encountered at the funeral home put our minds at ease that our loved one was going to be treated respectfully and with dignity. I don’t know what we would have done without them. They truly made the process as easy as can be throughout this difficult time.

I want to take a minute to say ty to Joe from the Elmont Funeral Home. In such a devastating time in my life, where I felt totally lost and even forgot how to use a pen, Joe was there to take the pen and fill out all the paperwork that needed to be filled out. He was so patient and understanding with everything. He made us feel like family. Such a kind and sweet man. I have been to other funeral homes and my biggest fear was that my husband wouldn't look the way I remembered him. Thanks to Joe and his team, I was able to say goodbye to a familiar face. The details of the funeral was beautiful and I can only hope they can understand the gratitude I have. This is definitely the place to say goodbye to your loved one before they go home to be with their "Father" in Heaven.

Our funeral director Joe was an absolute kind and helpful gentleman. He made me and my family feel at ease in all our communication with him from beginning to end. He accommodated us so lovely with easels, TV viewing for photo slides and even provided a microphone for our eulogy service. Not to mention they were very affordable considering the unplanned circumstances.

The fee is transparent, understands the demands and expectations of the guests, and respects the deceased. Beautiful place with wonderful people. Losing your love one is not easy and dealing with funeral arrangements can be stressful. I called a lot of funeral homes but elmont funeral home was different. Joseph made sure I was well inform and that's what I liked. He always kept me inform and made sure my family had the best experience. A family friend used Elmont Funeral Home after his wife passed away, and he recommended them to us. I was nervous based on there only being one review online, and it being negative. In the end, we were pleasantly surprised with their service. My husband planned parts of the funeral over the phone with Jimmy and then the final details in-person with Jimmy and other family members. Jimmy was helpful, easy to reach, and returned phone calls promptly. He provided us with 2 copies of the death certificate in a very timely manner just a couple days after our initial contact and the day before the actual funeral. He answered questions and gave my husband necessary information that served to guide him through the process. We needed a funeral that would rightly honor family and be something we could afford. This funeral home provided us with that.

As a pastor, I interact with a variety of funeral homes around the NYC metro area. Some experiences are good and others quite the opposite. In my experience, Elmont Funeral Home stands out as an excellent choice. The prices are affordable. The staff is friendly, thoughtful, and understanding. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and spacious - and it offers a sizeable parking lot, a major plus! I definitely recommend this funeral home to anyone, especially in Queens, Brooklyn, or Long Island.

I had lost a close family member, and it was a bit complex as far as funeral arrangements , and transferring body from another state , and dealing with a Military funeral. James Surprised us! He's the funeral Director, he was not only a professional in such matters, but went over and beyond to make sure all was in order. He handled every detail with Excellence, and his Staff as well !
