I've been visiting this park for years. It's a nice park with a pool & play area for the kids. There's also a tennis court & exercise equipment. It's well maintained. They also have house music concerts on Wednesdays during the summer months.
During the summer my mom takes me and my sibling here. the park is so big and this would be great if wanted to ride your bike or had a wonderful picknick I would totally recommend this park but you not from East orange if you never been to this park. The mayor is always hosting fun amazing event at this park for large crowds of people and me and my family love attending them if your in the EO area highly recommend checking this park out.
Family friendly park.. not too big but has a tennis court, playground, pool, exercise area with equipment and a basketball court.
Nice tennis courts with lights that stay on until around 10pm.
Used to live here in 2013 and it changed a lot for the better. This place is so fantastic to just sit in and chat with people.
I haven't been in that park in many years I stopped there and had my lunch the kids that were there were not bad either
Very Good Park. Lots Of Stuff For Kids To Do & Adults. One Of The Best In Essex County. It's Football/Cheerleading Season Right Now So Bring Kids Ages 8 & Up I Was Told It's Nicknamed "The Mayor's Park" For A Reason.
Great high quality handball courts. Playing time is Saturdays at 11am.
Beautiful park! It was my first time there and I enjoyed it. I was rollerskating on one of the tennis courts and it was such a nice experience. The surface was smooth all over and very very clean. I will be frequenting this rollerskating space more often. Wish there were more spaces like this for people who rollerskate.
I recently moved to East Orange and wanted to experience the culture of Essex County. They have House Music on Wednesdays in the park during the summer where there are several vendors there. If you want to support black businesses this would be the place.
