Elmwood Twp Fire & Rescue provides public service, public education, fire suppression, protection, and EMS to the residents and guests of Elmwood Township.
EFD has 15 firefighters, most of which have EMT-Basic licenses for medical emergencies. Our department has multiple emergency vehicles, which includes 2 ambulances, 2 fire engines, 2 tankers, a brush truck, and a water equipped ATV for wildland fire suppression. We serve the residents of Elmwood Township, and are fully staffed by 2 Firefighter/EMTs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have an additional staff member during our office hours from 8am-6pm 7 days a week.
