Mr. Ely had been hired to sell the properties for our family member who has passed. It has been close to a year & he has yet to list the properties. For 4 months now everytime our family members call he states he is writing the letters to send out or "It's on my desk in front of me now" as of two days ago he told me he was "finishing the letters & sending them out" 2 weeks ago he told my cousin "I've sent the letters out, if you don't get them it's due to the postal service." Our family has called and called for weeks. Sadly, Mr. Ely has constantly lied to our family, myself included & is not trust worthy. We wouldn't recommend Mr. Ely for anyone based on our experience. Over $800,000.00 of property is sitting with people begging to buy it but can not because Mr. Ely can not be bothered enough to finish typing & sending out a letter. It does not take a year to type a letter. If so perhaps this isn't the job for soemone who can't. A family shouldn't have to beg soemone to do the job they were hired to do. It's truly disappointing the lack of effort and service we have encountered with Mr. Ely.

I was contacting the Ely Group over a time sensitive matter and I called them at lunchtime and the receptionist told me to call back at five because the lawyer was busy. I called back at five then five fifteen then five thirty and got the answer machine every time! So don't use them for anything important because they don't care about your business. Go somewhere else this law firm is a joke !!!!
