I love Elyria park because it has a bit of everything. I also love how respectful everyone with dogs is and we all are always so happy to meet one another. I don't recommend going alone just because it is a bit secluded from homes and businesses at the moment but that's with anything really!
I've only lived here 11 years and it's my favorite place early in the morning to walk around and let my dog loose to run free. Coach is a really good person and he cares about a lot of people. I wished the park wasn't being taken like our home was on Gaylord St. Thank you Coach for everything, Rick & Terry Mascarenas 2018..
This is a great little neighborhood asset. There is a playground with slides, a climbing structure, and baby swings. The lawn area is pleasant and well kept, and the skate park and basket ball hoops are great for the older kids. The one disappointment lies in the fact that the rec center is not one of the Denver Parks and Recreation's facilities, which I believe discourages people from visiting.
Cute playground, a good handful of picnic tables. Frogs come out at night. Dont leave your kids unattended, adults frequent the park to drink.
Very nice small park with some tree shade they have a skate bord spot def need more bathrooms!
Did y'all know that this park is in the middle of the most polluted zip code in America? Did you know that it's in the middle of a food desert? Did you know the residents are poor, mostly brown and sick? Even the elementary school is toxic. The elderly are sick and the children are sick; many from things with no diagnosis. In nearly every home someone if not everyone, is sick. There was, at least, a community center in this park, a place for the children to play and be nurtured, but the city closed it last winter. This isolated little oasis is the mirror image of the forgotten and poisoned community in which is located.
A small, quiet park nearby the busy National Western complex. This park has a small skateboarding area. There is a porta potty.
There's construction on the streets all around the park so had to find alternate parking. Other than that it was fine.
In a rundown part of town but a great place to park and walk to the western event center if you want to save money. Free to park there.
Surprising we were the only family here on forth of July. But I'm glad we were. Happy Birthday J.r.
