State of the art! A brand new library to help people find information, entertainment, inspiration, relaxation, and connectivity now and well into the future

I just LOVE the new library. The building is a beautiful gift to all the generations that are going to come along after us. This citizens of Elyria should be very proud of their new main branch of the library. And the people there are some of the nicest and most helpful I've ever encountered. The library is just wonderful

I haven't been here in a while. I was going when they had their adult coloring nights and enjoyed those. I also always wanted to check out the reading room on the lower level, but it seemed there were always meetings going on in it when I was there. The library was scheduled to have some renovation or maintenance and the adult coloring was canceled for several consecutive months. I haven't checked if they resumed them and I really should. The library itself seemed older and dated to me.

I do miss the old library because the old library is next to my apartment but they relocated towards downtown elyria. The new library has outside table that you recharge your s which it's nice.

Pretty decent place. The issue I have is that libraries are supposed to be quiet places where one can go to work in piece. Within the first 30 minutes of being there I was disrupted with one woman talking on her cell phone and another guy talking to another person quite loudly. In both cases, nothing was said to these people.

Very friendly staff. Assisted me with printing some documents I needed quickly while I was mid travel.

Clean, quite, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

It's a library, folks. What's not to love? Friendly staff, materials displayed in a welcoming fashion with suggestions for reading and viewing, computer access, and if you use the online account to request your material via hold, the staff even pulls it from the shelves for you within a couple days.

The facility looked a bit dated when I visited. That was shortly before it closed briefly for revamp so it may be different now. I always wanted to check out a reading room on the lower floor, but it always seemed to be the site of a meeting so I haven't had the chance to do that yet.

Awesome library system and staff. Because they are a part of CLEVNET, they have access to so many more materials than other systems. Also, the main branch has a particularly great movie collection.
