This little hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was beautifully decorated in modern decor. The place was very clean. The only complaint I had was the beautiful laminate floors were dirty after wiping it down with s a towel. Also, the pillows were horrible! The gentleman at the front desk was very nice, the woman no so much! She was very grumpy when I showed her the dirty towel from the floor that I wiped. It was a nice place I would stay again!
The room was clean and recently updated but, you can hear everything happening in the rooms next to you. The air conditioners are very loud. Beds are horrible. You can feel every spring. The front desk people are not friendly! This is the we only hotel in Summertown TN. Stay in one of the surrounding ares!Rooms: 2/5
I drove in late and needed somewhere to sleep. I came to this motel with somewhat high hopes because the sign said it was under new management and recently remodeled. The lady at the desk was very nice. My room appeared nice when I first got there. I was so tired I honestly just went straight to bed. In the morning I turned on the lights and was going to take a shower and that’s when I realized how dirty the room actually was. I will post pictures. I ended up not taking a shower due to all the stray hairs in the tub. It did not look like it had been cleaned from the previous tenant. The floors were newer BUT need to the swept and mopped. A lot cleaning details needed to be done. When I checked out I showed the pictures to the lady at the desk. She was very kind about it and said if I had let her know she would have cleaned it. At that point I was leaving. I will say the bed was comfortable and I did get some sleep. That’s the most important part. Overall not the worst experience but there needs to be a little more TLC to the rooms. I paid $81 for the night. $50 would have been more fair considering the location but when you’re tired it doesn’t matter, lol.
Very clean, nicely updated, everything was good till we tried to sleep bed is stiff as a rock. I have actually slept better on the ground before. Also there needs to be an update to their amenities they do not offer breakfast, not at all. Food & drinks: There are non. Not offered at all.
Beds are uncomfortable, price is a little high for the quality of the room. Bad quality on repairs, you shouldn't be able to see where someone plastered and repainted, use some sandpaper for christ sake. They definitely don't do any"deep cleaning" on the rooms, but they are fairly clean overall. Lack of competition is the only thing that keeps this place open. Definitely clean your coffee maker before using it, they always seem to be dirty. If you're looking for business opportunities, might want to open a hotel in howenwald. saw a fight in the parking lot and someone actually got hit by a vehicle before the vehicle sped off.
My friend had a medical emergency while driving and had to pull over at this hotel to get help. The staff turned her away and was very ugly to her. Her mother had to come get her to take her to the hospital where she was admitted and she called to let them know she would be back for her car asap and they hung up on her. The staff lacks empathy or common decency towards others and should do better!
The only good thing about this room was the bed was comfortable. The sign says newly remodeled rooms, it was not. Very run down and dirty. If there had been another motel in Hohenwald I would not have stayed here.Rooms: 1/5
Only if you have no place to go!! Toilet wasn’t bolted to the floor, stained linens and towels, shower head sprayed the wall until I tightened it, floor was so dirty I almost puked when I looked at my feet!!
The shower curtain had mood on it and it shows on the site that breakfast is served but they stopped doing breakfast in 2020 and never started it backRooms: 5/5
Owners went above and beyond for me. I travel a lot and I found our room to be fine..place was safe and secure. Noticed it was clean and remodeled. I think they here have tried harder to make us happy.. we will be back and should be using them on a weekly or by weekly basis.
