My partner and I had an amazing stay overall! At check-in, Tori was a bit busy, however, she took care of me, phone calls and other guests with a smile and great attitude. We got up to our room and it was immaculate! The bed is super comfortable and the view from the bedroom was everything. The dining experience was great and the complimentary breakfast was delectable. Shout out to the kitchen crew for the delicious salsa! Every staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile and a hello which made us feel very welcomed. Thank you!!!
Great location and beautiful grounds. The only thing I would change would be updating the rooms. The bathroom was outdated, rust on the ceiling, tun faucet coming off, couch getting worn. Don't get me wrong, this place is great, rooms are huge, friendly, clean, etc. Just think that a hotel on a higher end of options catering to business class travelers could do more on the quality of the rooms that clearly get used. Nearby activities: Great food options nearby and close to Love Field Safety: The way it sits back from the main road and constant visible security made an impact on my perception Food & drinks: Quality nightly offerings
My room had AC but it could not be lowered. It was set to 60 but the room temp was 78. The price is high for the amenities offered. The hotel shuttle service is not very reliable and trying to book is a headache. The breakfast was great, but not enough for me to stay here again.Rooms: 1/5
All staff we encountered during our stay were courteous. The room was clean and on point with standards. The bathroom was immaculate and appeared in new condition. Ask the front desk where to park. There should be signs showing with where to park visible on the inside lobby area and exterior area in front of the entrance. I did not find out until later the details about parking. Thankful I didn’t get towed.
We arrived early, knowing check in wasn't until 3. Our room wasn't ready yet, so we decided to wait in the lobby. We were hot and tired from traveling and needed to rest. 3pm update - still not ready, check back in 30. Not long enough to go anywhere, so we waited. Then 4pm... 5pm - still no room. Finally at 5:30 and they told us the happy hour was starting soon so we could put our luggage in a closet and go get snacks/drinks with the kids. If I had known we would be in the lobby for 3 hours vs 30 mins, we would figured out somewhere to go. Also, they are supposed to provide an airport shuttle - available on the hour or when requested via call/text. After 2 times of the shuttle not showing, the front desk gave us a number to contact the shuttle driver directly. They never answered. We had to call a Lyft twice. Restaurant food - way overpriced for what you get. Room was fine - except our shower drain was clogged when we got there and I had to pull hair out barf to get it to drain. Positives: The breakfast was very good. Made to order omelets as well as normal continental fare. The free happy hour with snacks is nice with a different snack each day soft pretzel bites, nuts/fruit, chips/bean dip, veggies/ranch, popcorn. Does not make up for the level of frustration with the service here, however.
This hotel is dated. Carpet has a musty smell to it and the air conditioner in my room was not working. I asked to move and was told no available rooms then there was a smoke smell in the room like from the ac. I reported that also and was told it was coming from homeless people camping outside of hotel and smoke coming through my vent. Let's just say I was very uncomfortable with the heat and the loud sound of the air conditioner. They next day was moved to a new room after they say the air in the original room was fixed. It was ok. Just a musty smell and toilet would not flush. It would try but tissue would still be in the bowel. They really need to update the place and take out the old carpet and fix the AC. Especially in Dallas when it is hot. Rooms: In need of updates. Nearby activities: Really close to my job. That was the only plus. Food & drinks: Breakfast and Happy hour was a plus.
This Embassy Suites hotel was one of the BEST we’ve stayed at ! All the employees were very friendly . Over flight was delayed several times and when notifying the hotel that we may not make it tonight they said to keep them posted and they would not charge me for that night . We were able to make our connector so just like they promised the hotel complimentary shuttle picked us up at the airport . Upon checking in we were handed two water bottles and a welcome . It was really nice . They also gave complimentary shuttle service I think within a three mile radius from the hotel. We didn’t need to rent a car or need to Uber while we were there . It really was stress free . The hotel also has a complimentary breakfast including an omelet station and a complimentary happy hour . We were not able to use the pool as it was closed for renovations . Rooms: The room was very quiet . Beds were very comfortable and clean . Plenty of towels and tp. Safety: It seemed to be in a decent area Food & drinks: We appreciated the complimentary made to order omelets in the morning . There were several options but I enjoyed the omelets .
Horrible experience. The only thing good was the free breakfast. What the others are saying about the parking is true. When we tried to park, there were cones blocking the parking spaces. I asked the staff and they said if you move them you will be towed, so they told us where to park. They should have said this from the beginning. My shower was stopping up the tub, so I had to shower in the pool locker room. I asked for maintenance and it took 2 days to send someone after several request. The rooms are outdated and falling apart. See the attached pictures. The lobby is the only thing nice about this hotel.
At the airport, we called the front desk to see when the shuttle would arrived but it never did after waiting 15 minutes passed the time the front desk clerk told us. Upon check in, the bathtub was not cleaned. It looked old and dignity. There was piece of the tub chipped away around the drain area. We asked the staff for cleaning solution to do it ourselves but there were still marks and old dirt still in the tub. The third issue was the thermostat showed heat but the room never heated up. We called front desk and maintenance did came and “turned the cold water off for it to work”. Then that was no longer an issue. Finally on check out day, the cleaning staff walked in around 8:30 AM without a noticed to prep the room for the next guest. We did not notify anyone we had checked out at that time.
I had a park and ride pass with the Embassy and had a wonderful experience. The check-in was easy with great customer service. The location and free shuttle to the hotel were amazing. I felt very comfortable leaving my vehicle parked there. I highly recommend it, and when I fly out of Lovefield again, I'll be using this park and ride location.
