Upon our groups arrival we were greeted by very friendly and helpful valets. They explained the off site parking while some in our group checked in. We got checked in, parked and shuttled back very quickly. All the staff we encountered were very organized and offered many great tips for our stay. The room our group shared on the 33rd floor was very nice and clean. The view of the falls was breathtaking and watching the fireworks from the comfort of the room was awesome! We highly recommend staying here and would not hesitate staying here again.
Liked - Stayed at the Family Suite for one night on Jan 7. Gorgeous view of both the Falls. The suite was quite big, with 3 queen beds, 2 televisions and a jacuzzi style bathroom. Clean and tidy. Easy check in and check out. Parking off site is $35 shuttle brings you back to the hotel and on site is $70. Valet is $100. Disliked - The breakfast was by far the most HORRIBLE breakfast that I’ve ever had. They had nothing but all the sweet stuff, with some kids cereal and cold milk. They are serving cold food with no microwave available in the restaurant. You expect better than this when you pay $300 for one night. The supervisor first said they haven’t had hot food for over two years really? and later changed the answer that they don’t have enough staff or are in training.
Best view of horseshoe and Niagara falls! The location of the embassy suites is nothing but perfect. This hotel is on the exact position that it should be, giving you the best view in the world. If you want the best of the best, get a presidential suite at the middle of the hotel 25-35. The room I stayed in had a professional grade massage chair pointing toward horseshoe fall which was amazing. Unfortunately, the hotel is short of amenities you expect from a hotel charging you north of $1,000 a night. There's no breakfast on site, nor room service. Room bedding and other items are also not matching the price range. But I don't regret staying there because of the amazing view. Staff are very attentive and good.
The room itself provided a stunning view of the falls, from floor 33. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. But there was an issue with the heat and our room was sweltering hot no matter what was done with the thermostat. By 3:30 am no one could sleep and I now have four very grumpy children and two exhausted parents in the middle of the night. I am just waiting for breakfast to start so we can get out of this room!! The price is not worth it for the view if you can't sleep comfortably. Also, the parking is way over priced, $100 for valet, $70 for on-site, or $35 for off site. There is a shuttle. Update: After breakfast, I have also downgraded for service. It was NOT a typical embassy suites breakfast. It was donuts, cereal, and other typical pastries with hard boiled eggs. I would suggest saving your money and looking elsewhere at this point unless you just want to pay $600 for a hotel room with a stunning view. The view WAS spectacular.... but the rest was a huge let down. Way over priced and when we discussed the heating issue in the am, the response we got was a shrug. Love Embassy Suites and will return to them, but not at this location.
The rooms are incredibly big you can't hear anything inside the hotel. The actual room itself is extremely clean and well kept when expecting guests. The best part is the beds and view you can see the falls while eating laying down or anything they're right there to see. Personally opening the window and being able to hear the falls while sleeping is something else nobody else has. The staff are very quick and know everything and helped checking in and with any questions. Best hotel in the area.
We had a wonderful stay here for a few nights. We wanted to check in early but no rooms were ready but they offered us an upgrade that was ready. Usually a ploy to upsell rooms- that's fine because it was a great decision. We received a suite with falls view. The view was absolutely breathtaking and the room was large and clean. Definitely recommend the upgrade. We ate at the Keg restaurant and had a falls view there as well. Food was excellent. We also had drinks at the restaurant in the lobby as well as appetizers and that was good too. The service the second time in the bar was not great but it all worked out. We spent 2 full days here in October but personally two days is too much. Maybe OK for a family trip but with two couples it's just a waterfall you can see all you need to in a day and get the heck out of the tourist traps. We saw the falls from the US side earlier in the year so maybe just too much for us :- Parking was about 4 or 6 blocks away but the hotel shuttle ran people back and forth all day so it was very good.
UNBELIEVABLE AMAZING EXPERIENCE! First off the woman who checked me in, extremely lovely all around person. I cannot for the life of me remember her name, I do know she is Muslim, was the friendliest and most helpful check in lady, hopefully you can get her I’m sure she will try her best to help you get a great room! She deserves a raise, maybe the hotel will remind me her name….Secondly, the rooms are fantastic, check out the attached photo I took, just awesome, and I even had a massage chair in my room to watch that view from. They have great amenities and a fantastic location, yes do expect some upgrade fees and crazy prices for parking but if you come with the right attitude and expect to pay for the experience you will not be let down and you will really enjoy yourself. It’s all in your mindset. Finally I left some stuff in the room and the hotel housekeeping was kind enough to turn in it in and I picked it up the next week. They were great!
I was there with my family last week for the first time. It was only for one night, but it was a night well spent. We checked in, and being a Diamond Member, I'm always humbled at the services we receive wherever we stay. This time was no different as we were offered an upgrade for a fee to a room with a spectacular view. We had an amazing view of the falls, as well as the bonus fireworks show at night. The staff from the valet to front desk were solid people. I manage a hotel as well, and I found the services to be excellent. The room was clean and appreciated the space as well as the amenities. It was only for one night, but we will surely be back...upgrade or not as the staff made all the difference. Mahalo!!
The hotel is in great location and the staff explained well about parking options. The shuttle service from surface lot was quick and friendly. The upgrade options at front desk is significantly expensive than booking online. I did early check in almost close to room rate, but the breakfast wasn’t included for some reason. The breakfast was good with limited options, no fresh made food. The falls view was great, room is clean. But room was noisy at night to bother our sleep, some mechanical thing was running.
Rooms clean, modern, well kept.Good comfortable fresh smelling beds. Great view to the Falls. However the parking is pretty much a rip off.Valet $100. I did it first night.Arrived 11Pm was tired.Self park was $70. And parking two or 3 blocks away was $35. I found the hotel across the street charged $ 35 and it was right across the street. So did that for rest of stay.Other than that all good. Oh and within the hotel there is a Friday's. We went there that first night. The " manager" says no more seating service. "You have to order at the bar for take out. We went to do that but instead sat by a table near the bar and a very nice waiter waited on us. Bad manager.Hello ????
