Rooms are lovely. Bathroom is huge and I love having two 'rooms' and a kitchen. It's nice for a family. Location was about 10- 20 Mins from everything we needed although we wished it was closer to restaurants that were open later on Saturday evenings.Rooms: 5/5
This hotel has aged considerably in the past few years. The carpets were dirty, and there was a faint odor to our room. There were some electrical outlets that were not working and the air conditioner did not maintain the temperature set on the thermostat. At breakfast at about 8:00 AM with less the average number of diners there was a significant shortage of food, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, French, toast, and coffee. At one point, all of the serving trays were empty for almost 10 minutes. However, the made to order portion of the meal went smoothly with the chef, preparing eggs and omelettes with minimal wait. The evening reception was poor. This has been fairly typical for the last couple of years and, in my opinion, has taken a nose dive in quality as compared to prior years.
The air conditioner in the room didn't work. I told the front desk and the "manager" lied to me and said there wasn't anything wrong with the air conditioners. I went back and asked later on and I found out that there was an air conditioner down and moving rooms wasn't going to fix the situation because it was affecting the whole hotel. So there was just no way to cool the room efficiently. In addition, people just entered our rooms without notifying us and we'd come in and see that things had been moved and changed. I did not feel safe in this room and I brought it up to the front desk and management and they did absolutely nothing about it. It's better than a low budget hotel because the room is nice, but the management and customer service is some of the worst I've ever had staying at a Hilton property. Safety: I did not feel overly safe in this hotel. I expressed this to the front desk and They said they were going to pass my concerns to management and when I talked to management the next morning they just dismissed it very fast. They did not care at all! Very poor management. People were coming in and out of our room without notifying us that anybody was coming into our room.
Very disappointing experience. Booked multiple rooms here for my wedding in June, check in process was not smooth, communication between front desk and housekeeping was lacking, the lady at the front desk who promised to have me in my room on time and would come find me in the lobby went on break or walked away. When I got into my room it was ok, definitely warm so I have to crank the A/C and when I went to use my bathroom there was a cockroach crawling up the door. I called the Tuesday after my wedding weekend to say I left my rehearsal dress in the closet of my room I can tell you exactly what closet and was told I had to go through a website, did that and have heard nothing. Yes, my mistake for leaving my dress sorry had 3 carts of flowers and stuff from my wedding to load into a car... But, someone in that hotel has sticky fingers and stole my dress. Rooms: Definitely old and needs some carpet cleaning as well as couches and chairs.
This is a 5 star hotel in appearance and service. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had neighbors that were noisy at 10pm - the front desk had us moved and into another room on another floor within 13 minutes - really! They sent a professional security person to assist in relocating us and then that security person was going to 'speak' to the offenders who were so noisy - there were other complaints. Front desk service outstanding at checkin too. The bartender in the evening is the 'real deal' super overworked and super fast. The cocktail area dining area waitress was terribly overworked ... alone with dozens to serve and she too flew around the room doing her best. Embassy you need to staff more bar/restaurant servers - just two isn't enough. But you've never seen two more over worked people who were super friendly and happy to do their best. We'd stay here again. This was a Friday night stay. Rooms: Clean and well appointed. Safety: On site security people that are helpful and professional. Food & drinks: The bartenders actually puts booze in the drinks. Imagine that. Noteworthy details: Really pretty atrium area ... bar and pool area. Elevators super fast in this high rise hotel.
This Hotel is well maintained and the rooms are very nice. I was especially impressed with the helpfulness of the Front desk staff with special Kudos to Luke L. who went out of his way to make sure my late arrival due to flight delays didn’t ruin the tripRooms: 5/5
Staff in all areas were excellent, very friendly and willing to help in any way. The room configurations available were awesome compared to a standard double queen room, although the extra space in the bedroom was limited. The conditions of the room were overall good and kept fairly clean. The location left a bit to be desired, though. It was not particularly convenient for us nor did the surrounding area have much available.
The hotel is excellent! The management different story with the exception of Crystal who is wonderful! Had a booking issue which did not issue me a proper receipt, had to call 5-6 times and 2 calls to corporate to get resolved. The managers do not return calls or care about the guests.
Our room had a weird odor- we found someone’s Taco Bell garbage in cabinet under the TV. We got double charged for our room and were refused a receipt upon check out. The hot tub was luke warm at best. Would not recommend staying here.Rooms: 1/5
