If you have lost a loved one, look no further than Emerald Coast Funeral Home. From the moment I walked in the building, I was amazed at the cleanliness, beauty and serenity of this place. In a time where stress and sadness encompass the grieving, the atmosphere there provided total calm. The entire staff is extremely professional, courteous and compassionate. I was blessed to have Christine Gregory handle the arrangements of my loved one. Christine is not only an expert in her job, but she is also meticulous, caring and she simply does not know the word "no". Anything and everything I asked for, she made it happen. And she seem to know exactly the vision I had in mind for the visitation, service and burial. From video slides to the music I selected, to program design and the obituary submission, all was orchestrated in total perfection. Thank you Christine for the care, compassion, and honor you provided to my loved one and me. You are amazing and I am a better person by knowing you!
Jeffrey S. was an angel in disguise during our difficult time. Making funeral arrangements and burying a loved one Mom is heartbreaking. Jeff helped our family along the way, making the funeral arrangement seamless. His compassion, knowledge and personal touch during our tough time helped our family in every regard. My Mom was treated with the upmost respect and her viewing was beautiful and perfect. Five Stars is the max rating but, Jeff and his staff earned much more! The funeral and service Father Doug could not of gone any better! Thanks for making our difficult time a little easier.
My family and I would like to thank the Staff of Emerald Coast Funeral Home for taking so much care along with respect of my mother from the time they picked her up from her home to the day of her viewing. I/we would especially give special thanks to Christine Gregory for everything she has done and gone above and beyond to ensuring that we did not have anything to worry or stress on during the whole preparation and process. Christine did an amazing job on the makeup and dressing of my mother, it truly showed that she took so much care and thought in how my mother would be presented to her family and friends. The professionalism, comforting and caring attitudes displayed during the planning and preparation of my husband's body and funeral services helped ease the hurt of our loss of a loved one. When my wife, my loving partner of 52 years, left this world to be with our daughter in heaven, I was left in my darkest days. I would like to thank Christana for all of her help with my daughter Maddi's funeral. This was a tragic time for our family but could have been worse but for Christina's and the rest of the staff's efforts. They guided us through what was needed to be done and the facility was first rate - both Chapel and reception hall. The whole experience helped us with closure. If you need a compassionate yet business oriented facility this is the place. During this difficult time Emerald Coast made it so much easier to navigate through the funeral episode. From the first day, we were contacted by Taylor who took us through everything neccessary to achieve a befitting burial of my husbands beloved father. Taylor kept us informed about everything and kept an open line of communication for any questions and concerns we had and accommodated the family's wishes with regards to everything. From choosing the casket to floral arrangements his imput and knowledge was very helpful The room for a repast is a brilliant idea and so very convenient being on site. The staff was extremely respectful as well as helpful. The big dog Jeff had to be called in on a few occasions and his experience in the business was evident. The atmosphere at Emerald coast is perfect for such situations. Great job.
The personnel at Emerald Coast Funeral Home were very helpful and compassionate during the planning of my mother's funeral. The family used this funeral home 5 years ago when our father died and we were happy with the outcome. Our wishes for both funerals were carried out as we wanted without any problems or issues.
