Curtis Morehead, owner of Emerald, came to our house on an emergency call on September 8th. A butchered job by Verizon caused a telephone pole to drop on our power line, which caused our service line to rip off from the side of the house and the meter to blow up. Duquesne does not own the service drop, meaning we needed an electrician. Curtis showed up in about 45 minutes after calling him. He was able to do the repair work and manage any dialog with the inspector and Duquesne in order to get the power back on. The job itself took about 4 hours, but we were not able to restore power until the following day sadly due to bureaucracy and Duquesne crew availability. Curtis is not only knowledgeable in the trade, he is also down to earth and understanding of needs. We will definitely continue the relationship with Curtis and Emerald for any major electric work and consultation. Thank you. Several pictures attached showing a before and after. Highly recommend Emerald - we had a positive experience with everyone we interacted with to install our EV charger from start to finish. We would gladly use them again for other electrical needs & would recommend them to the community.
