The gym got worse after the Creswell location closed. Their renovations didn't include locker rooms. Instead, they just moved all the equipment to one location. This mostly just means there are duplicates of machines and more people, no improvements. If you give a negative review you will be contacted, not to address any of your concerns, but rather to tell you to go elsewhere and to complain about your rating so much for constructive criticism. They could have corrected the situation in a myriad ways, perhaps waving the cancellation fee? Or not having a cancellation fee, which is a gouge for the entirety of a 6 month membership. They made no efforts to address my actual complaints. The extremely rude owners spam-write reviews for their own business and obviously recruited generic 5 star reviews, mostly entirely? from employees or family. From Googles review policy: Conflict of interest: Reviews are most valuable when they are honest and unbiased. If you own or work at a place, please don’t review your own business or employer. Don’t offer or accept money, products, or services to write reviews for a business or to write negative reviews about a competitor. If you're a business owner, don't set up review stations or kiosks at your place of business just to ask for reviews written at your place of business. Edit to owner response: Everything in this review is 100% true. The owners and employees used their real names to review their own business. When I used my name, they sent an email to berate me, then never responded when I replied. If they put half the effort into customer service that they do into manipulating Google reviews, maybe there wouldn't be multiple reviews with these same complaints. And geeze... responding to a negative review with passive-aggressive references to someone's divorce is really low. Why would anyone use their real name when people like that are out there responding?

Clean and safe place and amazing staff. It's been a true blessing working with them and working out there. JG.

I love this gym! It is my second home! I have been a member for 11 years! All the members and staff are so friendly! Everyone knows everyone! The place is always clean! The classes are a blast and they have the best teachers!

Emerald Fitness Club is like family and it is a very supportive and friendly environment! They do a very good job at making everyone feel like they have a place and voice in their facility. All the classes have knowledgeable teachers and from my own personal experience, the Personal Training is high quality.

I was a returning member from over 20 years ago. Much of the fitness club is the same as it was then with faulty equipment in need of maintenance. With the new location I was hopeful however the new management of EVFC has deterred my business, and the memberships of my family and employees due to rude comments and remarks. After posting a review online with a 3 star rating due to broken gym equipment and rude remarks by the after hour staff texting me into the night. They called Saterday morning to cancel my membership stating "if your giving us 3 stars that must mean you don't want to be a member here". I am hoping in the future the gym can be sold to someone with business experience and provide staff training on customer service to make this a place for indivdivials and families to come and be treated professionally.

My wife and I have been coming to this facility for 10 years now and have been through all the changes. We are really excited with the new ownership/management changes at the beginning of the year from Better Bodies to International Fitness! There is ALL new staff and an increased variety of classes to choose from with a great commitment from the staff and trainers to make your life more fulfilling through fitness no matter what your level or age. I gave 4 of 5 stars only because the equipment isn't the newest on the market but they are changing this when they can and making sure equipment is working which the last management could not grasp for keeping and increasing membership attendance! Lastly we find this to be a more family oriented facility no children.. Teen and older and not a 'Meat Market' like other gyms we've gone too. 99% of the patrons are friendly and courteous which is one of the reasons our whole family continues to be members here.

Excellent gym, very clean, good customers. The only downfall is there is no locker room, no showers. Changing if needed is done in the bathrooms.

I love this gym! The gym and the equipment are always clean. There is always a friendly staff member available to help. The selection of cardio, weights, classes and aqua aerobics are fantastic! I recommend trying out both the Cottage Grove and Creswell locations.
