Emisshield Incorporated is the owner and creator of Emisshield® Systems. Emisshield® Systems are ceramic nanoparticle materials with high emissivity and heat re-radiation capabilities extending over a wide temperature range up to 3,000°F. The technology positively impacts most heat applications by changing the base physics of any system, and thus allows for positive improvements on any heat generating or absorbing structure. Our Emisshield® Systems are broad based in their application potential and apply similarly for all industrial processes.
The core technology of Emisshield® Systems was originally developed by NASA. This technology was called Protective Ceramic Coating (PCC) and was to be used as the heat shield for the X-33 and X-34 Space Plane Program. Often, NASA makes technologies available for license to the private sector. The exclusive license for this formula was obtained in 2001. After extensive research and development to modify and improve performance capabilities, Emisshield® Systems were introduced for commercial use amongst industrial applications. These Emisshield® Systems can be beneficial to numerous industries including: Metal Production, Kilns, Power Generation, Hydrocarbon, Chemical Processing, Crematories, Industrial Fabric Application and Commercial Baking.
