The good, the bad, and the ugly. The good- services are lively and entertaining, I can't say I learn much about religion here. The bad- the older pastor Ron is not to be trusted. He will not keep anything you tell him in private, and will be comforting to you, but turn on you and flip anything you said to the way he wants it to be heard. The ugly- he breaks commandments that he preaches about. I think he many need to review and live by them in his own life OR maybe it is time for him to retire and move on.... The best advise for you, is to move on and skip over this place of worship
The church has a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, the pastors of this church cannot be trusted and are the most un-christian like people. Apparently they have never learned the 9th commandment. "You shall not give false witness against your neighbor."
I was so disappointed by Pastor Ron. We trusted him. My son confessed something and he twisted his words to the police. Now my son is in jail for something he didn't do. It's too bad because we enjoyed the church until we found out pastor couldn't be trusted.
I came out of service today and found that my tire was flat. Before I even had the back of my vehicle popped to grab the spare, several men nearby stopped to help. Two of them were working for the church in the parking lot directing traffic. They pitched in a changed out my tire for me and got me on the road to work. As a single mom I'm so used to doing everything on my own, so asking for help isnt my strong point. So I just want you to know I greatly appreciate it.
I recently moved to Minnesota from Mississippi about 5 months ago..Being away from my home church, I was in search of a church I could attend and worship with fellow believers. I live in Fridley and only about 5 minutes from Emmanuel, so decided I'd attend services for the first time today...I was really glad I did..From the parking lot attendants to the greeters staff at the doors, I really felt welcomed.. And I really enjoyed the service and certainly plan to attend again as my work schedule allows..God bless
What an incredible church to be a member at. God is definitely pouring His Spirit on this place of worship. We can discern by looking at the fruits and the fruits of this place is from a good tree. Praise God! Come and worship with us on Sundays! But, don’t forget that worship and fellowship doesn’t just stop on Sundays, but goes into your whole week!
Emmanuel is home for us! A church that prays, teaches the truth of God's word, and welcomes all people is where we all should be!
I really enjoy this church. Sadly I'm not apart of the Christian community. But if I were to recommend a church for someone who wants to start their path to God. I do recommend Emmanuel. Such a lovely church. Kind and welcoming people who strive to make everyone feel welcomed.
Felt very welcome here. It's my second home Church. Serenity village in Emmanuel Christian center go to church twice on Sundays.
I love my church and Pastor Nate and Jodi.
