I wanted a second opinion about my hip and I got one I can tell you this if you are overweight know need to see a doctor's they don't give you hope at all but basically tell you that you too fat. Take x-ray to make money off you for coming to c a doctor gave me some meds that he never send to my pharmacy. I advice anybody that living in pain and obesity it's in know need to c a doctor at Emory they only gonna tell u u too fat.
Had total knee replacement and it went well. The surgeon and staff were wonderful. I could not have asked for any better care.
The doctors here got my 92 grandmother that broke her hip back walking This place is run like a well-oiled machine. From the guards, doctors, and kitchen staff, everyone was professional, friendly, and helpful.
Dear God, Thank you for such a thing as The Medical Field. Lord God, Thank Your For Emory University Hospital Orthopedic & Spine Center Peace and Amen
I had an consultation with Dr Greg Arens.?Everyone from the front desk was friendly and professional. Looking forward to Dr Arens doing my surgery.
New facility is really nice and sleek. They need sign in process is a nightmare for anyone that has a hard time standing/walking. The sign in process is not personal and makes you feel like you are in a rat maze. Lastly, the scheduling team asked a series of Yes or No questions to determine what doctor he should see. My husband has been a patient at the spine center for over a decade and couldn't see a doctor that did a previous spinal surgery because he wasn't on the autogenerated list of doctors. Overall, the experience is not personal and needs improvement. Most spine doctors here have no bedside manner, so I highly suggest trying to be more considerate of patients and attempt to make patients more comfortable.
Horrible experience just now speaking to the rep trying to make an appointment. Since this experience was subpar, I can only imagine how the visit would go. I would avoid this place and choose another
Stayed 6 days inpatient and honestly i will never refer anyone here. Not to make excuses but this facility is extremely short on nursing staff which in return causes us as patients to be poorly treated. I understand theres like 10 patients per nurse but never in my life have i experience such terrible treatment from anyone. Specifically from the night staff. I wont get to into my miserable stay because THANK GOD im finally outta there but ugh!! I hope to never return back here. Just an update. Returned back here in july for a CSF leak. The staff was definitely better. Apparently the nurses i had during my surgery were travel nurses. Absolutely horrible women. My CSF stay was ok. The nurse put my iv into my muscle instead of the vein so my whole arm swelled and and went numb. Thought i was dying it felt like i was having a stroke. Luckily he fixed it after i told him i was having crazy symptoms so i knew something was wrong.
I go with my dad today for MRI one of the nurse is really rude with us. She doesn’t know how to talk at all.
