Today I'd gotten a much needed curly perm. I decided to go to the Empire Beauty School. Best decision I could've made. I was a client of Ms. Andrea Cobb. Ms. Cobb was rather new to the school, but she is a born natural. She made me comfortable, and was very careful and precise, especially since it was one of her first chemical assignments. She had an occational  supervisors  assisting her here and there, and it turned out superb. I cannot express how much I appreciate Ms. Cobb's professionalism. I highly recommend The Empire Beauty School, and Ms Andrea Cobb.

Good service for a great price. My hair was done by Aniyah C. She did a wonderful job. Got a shampoo, blow-dry,  deep condition, and a trim for $30. I went back to try the nail services and Keiarra W tended to me. I enjoy hair schools because it fits my needs. I would say if you go, be sure to have time. My hair took 3 hours came out of faux locs and nails an hour an a half.

First time coming in. Warmly welcomed by the staff. I was able to book an appointment for the next day. Now I don’t let just anyone touch this luxuriousness perches atop my head. These natural curls require specificities that are not commonly offered. Marleeta DID HER THING - she was my stylist for the day. Awarded for her creativity I knew that I was in the right chair. Knowing that she strives to challenge and learn new techniques daily was just what I wanted to hear.  My requests are not the typical so I was pleased  that I felt comfortable and confident in my stylist’s capabilities.  It wasn’t long after the praises began to pour in over her talents.  Thanks Empire, I look forward to returning so that I can have my photo up on the wall!

I was very impressed with this school. Everything was professional and the young lady who serviced me was attentive, polite, and knowledgeable of how to style my hair. I got exactly what I asked for! Will be returning

I tried to call on Friday to get an appointment for my two girls to have their hair washed and blow dried wasn’t able to get through so I went in to schedule. I scheduled for today Tuesday for 10:45 I made the appointment Friday at 1pm they called this morning 45 mins before the appointment to tell me they had to cancel because of the holiday yesterday. I would’ve preferred they call maybe Friday when I scheduled the appointment or told me there would be an issue with scheduling Tuesday because of the holiday Monday. I had to take time off work to get I This appointment and now I can’t get the pto back I work in healthcare and thought this would be a huge help so that k can just have my kiddos ready for me to braid their hair of course I can wash and dry it myself but my girls were so excited to have their salon experience. They asked if I “could just come tomorrow” no no I can’t just come tomorrow.

By far the greatest, upmost, professional salon staff and students. Entering I felt so welcomed and style approved by the team there. I definitely owe a big thank you to the 2 lady teachers and also the receptionist. You ladies helped squeeze me in the schedule when it was thought i might not be able to be seen today. Most of all my appreciation goes out to "KYM", my stylist. Truly an amazing cosmetologist in training. Her certified licensing is well deserved as I believe she has defined the meaning of cosmopolitan. She started my session by listening to my wants, then inspired me with her thoughts. Throughout the session we talked as she educated me with various details about the hair color dying and highlighting techniques. Finally when rinsing and conditioning me she suggested I apply a certain type of toner she recommended. We then finished with a simple blow out and flat iron leaving me looking the most beautiful I've felt in so very long. The color she applied blended together so well throughout my hair. My end result left me in surprising amazement when she turned her chair around in order for me to view my own reflection. I truly had to look twice and pick my mouth up from dropping on the floor in astonishment. And all the while throughout my session, myself and the students training there, were laughing and talking the entire time all about various events and relatable issues in our lives. It made me feel like I was in a movie scene showing a comfortable salon service. The women there we're by far great. I know this review seems alittle long, but these women deserve each and every word mentioned throughout it. I want each of them to know you make a difference even with the most simple things in life and most importantly from it comes happiness. Thank all of you so very much for what you do along with your hard work and dedication. Definitely recommended. Highly appreciated. Scoring 10 out 10 on a scale of adversity. I say especially for my stylist KYM that you earned the gold medal prize for your hard work and cosmology expertise today! Excellent Excellent Excellent. Definitely go here for a great experience. Just had my first facial but it absolutely won't be my last. Everyone is extremely nice and professional, and my skin feels amazing. Prices are incredible with top notch service. Treat yourself to a great time and check this place out

Thank you Keairra for a wonderful experience! Price was great and service was quick!  It’s Difficult to find a great hair stylist that is willing to deal with my waist length long hair. It was finally time for a cut as my hair was becoming unbearable & causing headaches I received about 6-8” of hair removed.  The end result was beautiful and I am happy!

If you were serious about your career in cosmetology, this is not a place to be. As a current student of the Glen Burnie location.. it has been a complete hell from the beginning. There are absolutely no professionalism no proper teaching method.. instructors want to scream at you like your are a kid. clock you out as soon as you Voice your opinion or do not agree with what they want. The bathroom are filthy. Rules are being changed every month. It’s ridiculous the amount of time they rules  have change since I have been there. Absolutely no structure. Am now seeing to be transferred to another school. I only have 2 months to complete but I honestly feel I can’t handle this hostile environment anymore.
