I love this salon! I started coming last year and the students are great. Most recently I had my hair done by Perla, and she did an awesome job. She also gives the best scalp massage, I was in heaven! My hair was soft, sleek, and shiny, and done in a little over an hour. I haven't tried any nail or skin services yet, but I definitely plan to. I love that I can get excellent results at such an affordable price.
Loving coming to this location, Carrie recently did my hair and she did an amazing job! My hair was a hot mess and she transformed it into something so beautiful! She knows what she is doing and is so sweet! She even took the time out to tell me tips and tricks on maintaining my hair. I would recommend everybody to go to her!
Go here and see Janel for all your hair needs! I came in for a trim and deep condition. Janel is very professional and does a great job. She gave me a very relaxing wash and condition and did a perfect job on my trim. Usually I am nervous to get my very long hair trimmed because they will always take off more than I asked for but she actually listened and cut it exactly the way I wanted. Thank you Janel for giving me perfectly silky and healthy hair again!!
I've been a client of this beauty school in Hanover Park, IL for over 8 years! I have gone a couple of times during the day, but much prefer the evenings, which is most convenient for my schedule. Miss Sarah, the evening instructor, is absolutely phenomenal! She is super friendly, professional and has a great rapport with the students and clientele. And, the evening students are also professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about hair and nails. I'm extremely satisfied with the quality/variety of services offered, including the reasonable prices! :-
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Janel Bosso is currently my favorite student stylist, she is very through and precise. I ALWAYS get compliments from people when she does my hair. You will also enjoy Miss Teresa, she is so interesting! When I hear her giving a lecture and demo to her students I am fascinated by her down to earth approach to learning. She also teaches the educators and they are knowledgeable and glamorous, just like Sabrina! Such a fun place! Try this place out. You won't be sorry!
I was there about 2 months ago. Ashley really took care to listen to what I wanted and didn't want for my hair. She reviewed my hair and had no qualms with asking for instructor's advice to achieve the best option. I really appreciate her level of care and communication. I left with bouncy curls and a brighter color Now just waiting for the virus to diss apate, so i can go back again.
Carrie started me off by calming me down with a wonderful shampoo and conditioner. Shirlanda finished with a great style. my first visit began poorly due to a lost appointment but thanks to these two wonderful ladies it ended fantastic!
I had an appointment at noon and called them to let them know I would like an earlier appointment they didn't give me a problem at all and took me in earlier. The staff was nice and friendly. The student was so nice and even offer to go buy me some food while we where waiting to wash my hair. It was a long process to dye my hair but so worth it and the price was cheap for all the work she did. I will definitely be going back. Love the end result
I went in for a deep conditioning and shampoo and blow dry. Maira work on my hair. She is excellent. She explains in detail what she is doing and gives great advice on beauty products. I had her before for my color. Which was great. She is very polite and a delight to have doing by hair. I would recommend anyone to go to empire for their beauty needs. They treat you right. And I will be back.
