0 stars!!!! Hospital scheduled an 8:00pm pickup. 2 hours later, haven't shown up yet, and were told another hour. It's now midnight and they're still not here and are sooooo backed up and it'll maybe be another couple of hours. After reading the reviews, I'm not sure why anyone would ever use this completely unreliable, incompetent, poor excuse of a company!!!

Lieutenant Sherry is very unprofessional. I’ve been trying to contact her for the past two weeks. No answer. I left her countless voice messages with name, number and reason career services She has not called or responded to any of my messages. I’ve spoken to HR a couple times and they always tell me she is at her desk and is available and able to answer the phone, they don’t understand why she is not answering the phone. Empress is highly unprofessional.

Don’t know why they don’t have 5 stars they respond quickly , they are compassionate and understanding. They made my mom feel like a human being and not just another call. We had two emergencies and both times the Emt were amazing. Thank you Empress Team for being professional and caring.

My mum was in hospital and was getting discharged. Ambulance was called; to take her home. An ETA was for 2pm, I was at hospital waiting from 12 midday. Empress ambulance showed up at 6:45pm. I was livid, this was insane. This ambulance company is not reliable. A business is not run like this because each person relate to another about their experience with a business. Now for the EMT’s they were great. They were friendly, courteous and apologize for the long wait. The rating I would give this business is below 1.’ Star. If I could, I would rate below the one star they got. EMT’s I would rate. them a 10+.

Lt Karl's team was amazing! I am grateful for their services. They were all professional, informative, kind, understanding, and gentle with my father. Best EMS team in Yonkers!!!!

Worst ever. 7 hours later they finally show up. When I called, I was told by Julio that I was gross for wanting to prioritize my transport over a 911 call. I would never do that but are you telling me for 7 hours every truck got re routed. EVERY ONE. More like the dispatch either lost a transport or the company does not have enough truxks.

Call 911, be ok by the time Empress gets there, be assured you won't be charged unless you get transported. 7 months later, out of nowhere get a pre-collection notice for hundreds of dollars. Impossible to communicate with management for weeks, despite multiple phone calls and emails. Then when you finally do speak to them, they are shamelessly greedy about their ability to charge you whatever they want, with no warning. That's the Empress experience. If there are any other ambulance services in your area, steer clear. The management staff I spoke to Blecker seemed quite proud of the fact that they can, as I said, charge you whatever they want, with no warning and in fact after being assured you wouldn't be charged. If you want ethical, empathetic medical care, you won't find it here.

We have used Empress several times this past year for my husband and his medical emergencies. The response and care we received was exceptional. They arrived within minutes. We would like to give a special thanks to the paramedics Carl, Jeremie, Magnuson, and Sam for their exceptional knowledge, care, and empathy.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! A bus was called to take my grandmother to the ER and was told " it was not a true emergency." How do you turn down service?!? Thankfully after everything was said and done another company took her. As an EMT I'm appalled by the gall it took to do that. Horrible customer service and company.
