We do these camps as a sort of therapy, to bring children (and sometimes adults) back to nature and to help instill a sense of respect for the earth and recognition of her beauty. Each camp has a focus on leadership, respect for all things, and maintaining the wonders of the wilderness.
Respect All People. It is a goal of ours to teach kids HOW to learn, not WHAT to learn. By that we mean that each person needs to take in what rings true in his or her heart and recognize that it may not be what rings true for others and that is not necessarily a bad thing--its just something to work around, not try to change.
