Dr. Marty Schulman provides a full range of primary care medical services in his unique concierge-style solo family medicine practice. His practice is a mix of preventive healthcare for children, men, and women, diagnosis and management of acute illnesses and injuries, and ongoing care of chronic conditions. He also has a special interest in preventive healthcare related to foreign travel. His medical practice is designed to be low volume, which allows for appointments that can typically be scheduled the same day, start on time, and be unhurried. He is available to his patients by cell phone 24/7 and by email, and he will make house calls or see patients after hours when medically necessary. He is a medical staff member at Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas, UCSD Thornton Hospital in La Jolla, and UCSD Medical Center in Hillcrest, and he continues to be involved with teaching at the UCSD School of Medicine as a non-salaried associate clinical professor
