This is absolutely the best small motel I've ever seen . It even has a carport to park in and covered walk to the rooms ! The owners and staff are indeed TOP NOTCH , the friendliest , most helpful you could ask for . Rooms are spotlessly cleaned , and spacious , and with micro/fridge . Flat screens and internet the stay is so peaceful I thought I was alone there . If I'm ever in the area again for ANY reason , I will stay here again just because , tired or not . Encino motel ? My hat off to you , thank you for the wonderful stay , the Hilton has nothing on you guys
The room I was given was, not good trying to be nice. As soon as I opened the door the smell of cigarette hit me in the face. The beds are super hard and I did find a couple of hairs in the sheets. I put my comforter over theirs. The paint on the restroom ceiling is peeling off. The front door looked like the room had been broken into at least a couple of times and wasnt fixed very well. The rooms are so close to road that you can hear traffic zooming by at all hours, and it's pretty loud. Their pool looks like it hasnt been used in about 10 years. If you have a choice, just don't do it. I would definitely NOT recommended it to anyone.
Old establishment yet extremely well maintained. Visited in early summer 2017. Rooms and entire motel looked newly remodeled. Only two rooms have adjoining walls with a large carport in between each two rooms. This is the first time in ANY hotel that we can breathe comfortably, inhale and the place smelled clean and fresh and this is comparing to high priced 5 star hotels! The carpet was clean. We all have allergies and don't fare well with carpeted high trafficked rooms; however, we slept comfortable in this place. The restroom is also newly remodeled, spacious, and clean. Beds equally comfortable and clean. And black out curtains truly did their job. We ended up oversleeping! We woke up well rested. The owners were amazingly nice, even educating us about the place being used to film a scene for the movie "Selena" based on the late singer Selena Quintanilla Perez. Highly recommend. We stopped on our way to San Antonio. Decently priced at $50 per night and it is only about 30-45 minutes from San Antonio.
It could use a bleach spray on the ceiling and around the tub and ceiling due to the added humidity. Was comfortable and slept well with the room darkening curtains. If there are more than 2 people inquire on the mobile home at the end. 3/1 with full kitchen. Wished the pool had been working but water from road floods pool.Rooms: 4/5
I visited this hotel, I want to say in 2012 and always kept it in mind because of the price. It's no Hilton or the Marriott but for the town that you're in if you're in that area it's well worth just the 50 bucks. I wouldn't stay a whole week, not even more than a night but I would definitely recommend if you're in the area and you're pressed for money to check it out especially just to get a nights sleep. The rooms and bathrooms need a definite update / makeover but for the price you can't really complain I guess. I will always take a visit if I'm in that area weather be my last day on vacation or business in the area. By the way they have a decent-sized pool of which is fair enough to make up for the rooms in my opinion.
The owners are the sweetest people . They helped me and my family out in our time of need . Rooms are super clean super comfy beds and beautiful restrooms . I loved my stay and I love the sweet owners!Rooms: 5/5
Not your Hilton appearance from the outside. Friendly front desk staff. Very reasonable price. Rooms are newly remodeled, bathroom nicely tiled; floor and wall. Beautiful sink and room furniture. Clean, clean!! Covered parking. Great stay experience definately have found my hole in the wall 5 star hotel.

Worst place ever man was very rude, He told us one price the lady told us another, House keeping come in your room even though the sign is outside the door saying you don’t want housekeeping. Woke up with baby powder poured all over my car as well as a FLAT TIRE that was BRAND NEW. I’ll never come back.Rooms: 1/5
Everytime we go to Pleasanton we always come here to the Encino Motel. The owners and staff are really friendly and make sure that you are comfy . It is quiet ,peaceful and clean I also like that you have a carport next to the room so you can park close . It is a good getaway place to go .Rooms: 4/5
