My wife brought me here at the ER for chest pain. The ER Department was fairly small, but very efficient. The staff were very caring and attended to every request, from admissions to the aides they were all courteous. Appreciations to Dana & Michelle who took care of me while I was in the ER, you were a great help ladies ! Thanks to Dr. Bartels for ruling out every single possible cause of my case. Kudos to the team!
I had couple of episodes of chest pain this morning. Family doctor asked me to go to an urgent care, and the urgent care asked me to go to an ER so I ended up here. Got admitted and checked up fairly quickly. Nurses were nice, doctor took me seriously although he thought it's unlikely a heart attack. Luckily all the tests came back normal. I have been to ER several times in the past unfortunately and to be honest my overall experience here was pretty good.
Awful experience here and we're currently exploring legal options. They left my 16 month old son's burns untreated and had him screaming for 3+ hours. They gave him 3 doses of morphine because they thought that would quiet him down and when it didn't because he was terrified they asked if they could give a 4th. Now they have the nerve to send us a bill for the whole experience. Avoid this place at all costs. "Please message us your contact information so that one of our leaders may get in touch." Let me just send a message to...oh that's right. I can't send a message. You've already called to get a report, said you'd call back, and then ghosted us hoping we'd forget. You have my contact information but you can get it from your legal department pretty soon either way.
The worst experience in my life, with emergency room, I’ve been waiting for 1 hr and 37 min to be called and still waiting! The funniest thing is it was just me in waiting room and I didn’t see any other patients who was brought by ambulance. If I die in er may be after I can get help? Even I ask the worker who sits upfront to make a claim or talk to supervisor of emergency room to make a claim and she didn’t do anything, she kept ignoring me with my all issues, I just came to them because I recently I had neck surgery and I have neck pain after car accident today!
This review is on the ER. The ER manager runs the place like a county jail facility where patients and family are not allowed to ask questions, have a need for anything. Slow, uncaring, rude, dismissive, unwilling and ugly in every way. DOCTOR HAWK in particular is a hideous person and should be working in a prison for violent beasts and not ever going near a human being. She should be fired and lose her license. She is only qualified to work on a corpse, because she cannot handle talking. HAWK cannot articulate. We had to endure the fear of not knowing, fear of being kicked out and fear of death and fear of asking a question. The hospital which is run by different managers, has some very caring and wonderful staff.
I struggle to understand what must be leadership issues at this hospital. The primary nurse and hospitalist were great. But this place struggled to make obvious medical decisions in a timely fashion for my acutely ill 85 year old father.
If you absolutely have to go to the hospital and someone has a chance to take you, try not to go to any hospital in the valley. Cedars Sinai Beverly Hills is the only one that treated with respect. The nurses are so mean here!
I have to be honest I was dreading taking my daughter to the emergency room because since moving here to California five years ago we haven’t had really good experiences with Drs but the doctor and nurses help make a stressful situation less stressful and for that I am thankful. Every single person we came in contact with was kind and respectful and there wasn’t a wait time. My daughter’s information and vitals were taken right away and shortly after she was seen by the Dr. I pray that this level of service continues because sick people need a place where they can be properly cared for.
Went to the ER yesterday. Never received a wrist band and didn’t have a call light within reach. Was there for an issue that could’ve been resolved within a few hours but I was there from morning to evening due to the staff not checking in as often as they should’ve. I had to walk up to the nurse station in tears because of the pain I was in after waiting a couple hours for them to get back to me. The ER was pretty empty. Also was never asked if I was hungry, and ignored when I asked for a bite to eat. Staff was pretty rude actually. Felt frustrated at the lack of care while in extreme pain and discomfort. I don’t think I’ll be returning here if I can help it.
Explained to receptionist that I needed a Covid test to return to work. Her reply was that you needed symptoms or a at one point or a positive test. I told her I had them at one point but they had since went away she wasn’t making any attempt to be helpful and kept saying I should go to cvs…. so instead of arguing with her I left. Security guard there followed me from across the check in area and lingered randomly around behind me leaving the check in area empty. Going to make a complaint to the Medical board of California
