Absolutely amazing place! My dad was here and we could not have been more impressed. The medical staff was outstanding. They looked at the whole picture and made adjustments to medications and he feels so much better now. The therapists were outstanding and pushed him to become stronger every day. The entire staff was friendly and easy to work with. He also LOVED the food. Highly recommend!
Highly do not recommend. This place only cares about the insurance money and not your loved one. This place left my dad in his bed and did not check on him at all or care to any of his needs. He would ask for things and not receive them for over 24 hours despite asking multiple times. He was going downhill. My aunt had to demand they take him to the ER. His blood pressure was so low and he was so weak. They didn’t care for any of his wounds at all, and now he’s back in the OR for surgery. My dad got severely worse after coming to this place. Be aware.
LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN!!! I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone who has a loved one seeking stroke rehabilitation services. From the first day my father entered this establishment, he was neglected! Excluding those who provided therapies & the stand-in dietitian, the staff is not to be trusted! From the pure rudeness of the technicians to the nurses failing to feed my dad and yet giving him medicine that he couldn’t handle, to the staff taking and hiding my dad's only means of entertainment the remote control multiple times when they were reported, to the nurse supervisor who threw her team under the bus by saying, “well that was them” when I came to report what was happening, and even a nurse TELLING ME THAT MY DAD WAS SET UP FOR FAILURE BY THE STAFF, this place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Months later and my anxiety is still triggered since dealing with this place, even after I had my dad removed. I could say so much more because it only gets worse! Do not be fooled by any tour you take!!! I’m still trying to cope with the situation that happened to my dad here. No person should ever deal with less than qualified individuals in a field as such. I’m still in disbelief but feel it’s my moral and ethical right to warn those who are looking into this place. Lastly, before this facility provides another failed attempt at damage control by responding with a less than adequate statement, save it! It’ll be as insincere and ineffective as the meeting I had with the CEO & CNO to address the situation above.
I am questioning how well my husband was looked after. He was just moved to another facility. He has a possible infection in his surgical wound. The new facility said he came there with it. I had the flu and couldn't see him for two weeks but I didn't get any call from Encompass regarding the excess drainage from his wound. After reading the other review about a patient who's wounds weren't cared for, I feel the same may have happened to my husband.
Stay away! I did 2 weeks of rehab there and ended back in the hospital with a very serious UTI. Had a catheter but was told by visiting wound care do not remove. Kept trying to inform doctors, nursing staff and rehab staff that something wasn’t right. Kept telling me oh it’s just uncomfortable. Never again will be going there. Also the outsourcing for nightly dialysis is a joke too.
My mother was here for 2.5 weeks after a fall. Her entire team was excellent, especially Dr. Shah and her PT, Lannhi. Everyone working here really cares, and you can tell. Highly recommended.
No one would come when I buzzed for help. Food was terrible. Physical therapists are very pushy. No one is on the same page. Terrible place. I practically had to bust out of there. They lie. They don't care. It's just an awful place for ANYONE to go.
My father was recommended to come to this place after falling down and being sent to a local hospital. Within 24 hours after being admitted, he fell again and subsequent dealings with the nursing staff showed them to be ignorant, untrained, unreliable, and uncaring. One of them didn’t know that a blood pressure reading of 160/90 was too high for an 87 year old man. I had to tell her that it was too high. I am not sure he was given the correct medication regimen during his stay, and after stating in this facility for three weeks, during which time he got worse than when he was admitted, he acquired several other health problems which were not dealt with at all. Suffice it to say that the staff are not interested in helping people as they should. One final instance concerned his discharge. He was given a wheelchair and portable potty, and was brought home with his pants unbuttoned and unzipped. Upon arriving home, his pants fell down trying to exit the car and he fell down again. Paramedics had to be called to raise him into his wheelchair. After staying inside for two hours, he fell down again and had to be readmitted to the hospital. The staff here are mostly overdressed fashion conscious women who are more interested in how they look than in doing good nursing work. The administrators are silly, to put it nicely. The release which resulted in his being readmitted within two hours after being discharged showed that the purpose of getting rehab here was not met and that he was basically billed for his Medicare insurance just to get money under false pretense. I cannot recommend this facility for these reasons and also for the hostile way I was treated when I complained about his worsening condition during his stay here. I am sorry to be writing this but he did improve after more competent doctoring afterward.
I stayed here in May 2022. Didn't have a single bad experience. The entire staff were very caring and made sure that I was making daily progress and feeling positive. Also the food was great! Would definitely recommend to anyone!
The staff was wonderful! The doctors and nurses were great. They listened intently to my issues, analyzed my problems and setup my rehabilitation requirements. The cafeteria provided delicious hot meals. The pharmacist came by on the day I arrived and the day prior to my departure. The rehabilitation therapists were knowledgeable, engaging and truly cared about my welfare. This location provides onsite dialysis. Every room I viewed was clean and sanitized. My two week stay was glorious!!!
