Liked the movies I saw here sadly I would have went more if they had updated the website to show what was playing. I never had an idea what was on unless I drove by. Shame that they are closing. I loved how they had the scary/thriller movies in the same theater.
Genuinely great experiences here, I'll miss it very much. I wish that there was a way I could help keep it going. There's people who will say stuff like oh it's just regular seats, I want a foldable Serta mattress or some other exaggeration but the prices unfortunately were to good to be true. Everyone who has been here should know how good it is, everyone else I'm truly sorry you missed out on such a wonderful experience...
This place honestly deserves a higher rating... Ever since I learned of this cinema post the closing of Hermitage Cinema 8, this has really kind of been a comfort place for me. Employees are so nice, special shout out to Everett who has been nothing but an energetic sweetheart to me and my family. The inside of this cinema has a nostalgic, comforting feeling... Ugh, I saw post post yesterday and my heart broke... I'm going to miss this place so much- I'm delighted to have been able to stop by this gem as many times as I could since I learned of it's existence. Wish I knew this place was here sooner. 1000/5 stars always.
I am always thankful for this local theatre. I've been going since I was young and bring my children here too. The pricing is so gracious, everyone should make the time to visit before renting your favorite new releases sometimes. It costs not much more than renting at the moving store and it's a great outing plus you're supporting a really nice business.
Tickets were $4 for an evening movie. The prices are obviously great, including concessions. Seats were really comfortable. Staff was super kind. Great experience!
I went to see "A Star is Born" today. The theater was very clean, the seats were extremely comfortable, the price of a ticket was right, and the cost of refreshments was reasonable. The picture screen was large and the sound quality was very good. I would give this theater a 4.5 out of 5 rating!
The Encore Cinema has really made some big improvements since the last time we visited. The lobby has been redone and the theatre's themselves have newer seating. The prices at the concession are very reasonable. Thanks for a great experience. Your efforts are showing!
Clean and well maintained, this is one of the best secondary theatres we have here in the Youngstown area. Staff is friendly, personable and accommodating. Ticket prices are reasonable as are concessions. My only complaint is the volume and surround sound. Volume was fairly low and the surround sound seemed almost nonexistent but not a trip killer for a dollar or $4 reall, lol show.
Awesome to see and support the "Cheap Seats" theater in our town. They have made significant improvements to the theaters and lobby area and maintain it better then most first run theaters. Food selection is great with many combo deals. Prices are reflective of a 2nd run movie theater which makes for a great family outing at less than have the cost of 1st run theaters. Staff is definitely trained in customer service because everyone is polite and attentive. Bathrooms, lobby and theaters are always clean! Great job Encore!
I took my wife and my two children to go see there first movie ever here. I needed everything to be perfect so my kids would have a good first memory. They are both very young but I know this theatre and the experience will last a lifetime. Its been a long time since I have been to the movies because the way I was treated at the regal. But thanks to this small cinema I will be going to the movies much more often. Also thank you for being affordable. I had a blast.
