Encore Department Store

This store has HANDS DOWN the best, most interesting items. I drove from KC to shop at this store and ended up spending over an hour talking with the owner because she is hilarious and so much fun. Please do yourself a favor and shop this spot. Make a trip to JC, see some sights and shop Encore! You won’t regret it.

Small but packed with eclectic vintage stuff, owner is helpful

You can barely walk around in here without feeling like your going to knock something over. There really wasn't anything of notice, a bunch of not visually appealing vintage things and a small section of costume-like clothing.

My favorite vintage shop in Jefferson City!! Not only is there a million really cool things to see and shop in the store but Annie the owner is the cherry on top to this perfect place! She’s an amazing human and is brings an amazingly fun and witty touch to High Street JCMO!!

It's a beautiful building downtown Jefferson City! There were treasures everywhere. Parking is on the street but I didn't have any trouble getting a spot. Encore was packed with vintage items. I purchased several beautiful early 1900's picture frames at a bargain price. And Annie the owner was a delight! If your in the city don't let the opportunity to stop and shop pass you by.

What a fun place to peruse! I've bought jewelry, a few salt and pepper shakers I've given as gifts, and wall hangings. I love how it's different from one visit to the next. The owner is friendly and informative of each item she sells.

Fun shop to browse to find something unique. Fairly priced I mean, it's vintage, not thrift, very nice staff/owner.

Lots of stuff to look at. Would need a few hours, which I did not have at the time of visit, to really check out everything. Bought a lamp for $6.00 which works very well. Alot of the items were priced at vintage and/or antique prices. Had a lot of furniture and shop owner was willing to negotiate pricing to get items moved out so newer items could be put out for sale. Will return on a day when I have more time to explore as there was a variety of items to look at.
