Large selection, but it’s always messy. Very hard to find what you are looking for, as styles are very poorly organized amongst brands. One style of shoe can be in 3 places because there is little to no reorganization of the store. There are so many shoes laying in the aisles making it hard to navigate and looks trashy. Not every shoe is represented and it’s impossible to tell for sure what you want isn’t in stock. Very little mens clearance.
Shoe Dept Encore in Gateway mall is a big enough store to display men women and kids shoes. They have a limited variety of bags as well. But the display is not good and shoes are lying here there. There's a clearance section as well where there's nothing except a few pairs in odd sizes.
For the most part the prices are not bad considering it's the mall but they have a really good selection too. I totally dig the clearance area in the back of the store that is completely separated for easy access. They have only what you see so there's no hoping they have it and back or anything cuz it doesn't work like that here their beautiful and slick shoes, heels, sneakers, sandals, Crocs, boots, or whateva, no matter what you're looking for I'm sure they have somethin pretty similar to what you got in mind
Absolutely no customer service skills by any of the employees here. No hello can I help you find anything. All I got was judgement looks from both employees that where working. Don’t waste your time or money here. Unless you want the free judgment looks.
There aren't usually many people working here, but it's pretty easy to find what you need on your own. I love the variety of shoes at affordable prices.
I was in your store today and it was completely disgusting. Shoes littered the aisles, trash on the floor, no footies to try on shoes which is a health concern. I tried to find a staff person buy appeared there was only one or 2 working and they were overwhelmed at checkout. Really sad.
Shoes are decently priced and good quality. Staff was nice but not very helpful. I'm on my feet for 12 hours while at work and was looking for a comfortable pair of work shoes that would last longer than 3 months. I had to hunt an employee down as they were all at the front of the store talking amongst themselves. When I asked for suggestions they all told they didn't know. Wasn't impressed.
I love the store, but the shoes are limited in the bigger sizes.
Great service, employees very helpful. Bought a great pair of Vans. Would be 5 stars but it is UNBEARABLY hot in that store. I had to leave almost immediately.
Selection is good, however customer service is poor. I completely understand the policy of getting the 2nd shoe at checkout, however there needs to be staff to accommodate the need. Way to slow in the checkout lane due to the cashier needing to go get the shoes themselves.
