By far my favorite park to go to when your looking for something free to do for your weekend they have a tone of different playgrounds for your kids to play the bathroom are kept pretty clean and when the concession stand is open their food is pretty good to! Also if you play Pokémon go there is definitely a tone to do on the game here!
It is a gorgeous park with a beautiful fountain, with the floating wild geese. I have never seen so many geese at once. Lol! The trail along side of the lake was short but beautiful! The picnic table was a bonus. Highly recommen it! Picnic area: It was very clean with metal tables. The view in front of the lake is a hit. Wr really enjoyed it!
This place is MAGICAL! This has got to be my new favorite park. Beautiful, mature trees everywhere. There's a huge lake with koi fish and several types of ducks and swans. There is a museum featuring fine art and another featuring trains. This is the perfect spot for a picnic, a scenic walk or to take the children to play on one of the playgrounds. I'll definitely be back soon.
It was an expected gem to come across. The Lake was teaming with fish. The geese were somewhat friendly, which is shocking due to the crankiness of the ones around Pittsburgh.the sculptures were interesting. I definitely will come back to explore some more.
It's a nice park to park walk around or even have a picnic. There is a great playground for the kids.
We went tonight tember 16th 2023 to go see the fireworks not the best fireworks we've ever seen but considering the time of year it is we definitely enjoyed them however they did start several minutes early which kind of sucked considering I only Parked .3 miles away from where the actual fireworks were set off but after running I'm getting down there we still got to see most of the show and as far as traffic that was definitely handled well and they kept the traffic moving overall experience was pretty awesome however they do need to trim some trees
A lovely place to walk, picnic and play situated in the middle of town. Paved paths are easy to walk, leading to picturesque bridges. Benches are scattered throughout the park. It is also easy to find picnic tables. The park is clean but keep an eye out for goose droppings! There are several parking lots and two playgrounds. The Museum of Art is located within the park. It is a beautiful building. Guides are friendly, helpful. No admittance or parking fees. We will return to see the landscape in bloom.
Okay place to wash clothes. It’s not that busy in the morning or at night. And they lock there doors at 9:00 pm. No restrooms They have a ATM inside. Just be careful using it in the evening. Still in a sketchy neighborhood. The cleaning lady who cleans up the place when the close is really rude. Not liking this place
Nice shady paths around a lake with many catfish. Playground equipment, shelter with picnic tables. Will definitely visit again!
Always been one of my favorite places. So much to enjoy. Nearly a mile of walking trail around the lakes, feed the ducks, play baseball, basketball, soccer or tennis. grab a snack at the snack stand open seasonal or grab some duck feed, visit the Hager house or the art museum. or just take in all the beautiful nature and take some photos Playground: Has several playgrounds but does still get busy. Restrooms: New restrooms are nice but in off season they have portable pottys and my 4yo wouldn't even go in. This was his first experience lol and I can't say I blame him. Dog-friendliness: dog friendly in certain areas but please clean up after them it's no fun when you kid steps in it and tracks it in your car! Picnic area: several pavilions and individual tables with grills. or throw a blanket on the ground and enjoy!
