Our first issue was we had to call three different spots to find the vehicle we needed for size. The first two said they had it arranged the car and then called 6 hours later to say "sorry we really don't have a vehicle" very frustrating from a time management perspective. The other issues were when we picked up the vehicle. Not washed, or filled up with gas, and the interior had footprints on the windows along with smelling like POT. We spent two hours sanitizing the vehicle. The manager gave us a discount, but the experience makes us think twice as a company if we should rent from Enterprise again.
Didn't care for the car that they originally gave me. Changed it out for me no problem. However, I didn't like that car either and was stuck with it for a week. I remember when I enjoyed the rentals so much that I hated turning it in and returning to my own car. Now I can't wait to get back into my vehicle. Great customer service but poor selection of cars to choose from.
I’ve been loyal to Enterprise for years now. I’ve recently noticed a real decline in their service. My last rental vehicle was dirty inside and out. I also love Mr. Scribs pizza but I don’t care to have the staff at the counter shoving their faces with it while waiting on me.
*UPDATE* More terrible customer service. After reaching out via email, as requested, this is the response I received..."I am sorry that the contract rates changed between the time you made the reservation and you were going to get the vehicle. I can understand that you are frustrated, but this is a long standing policy and will not be changed. I apologize." Zero attempts made to remedy the situation whatsoever. Never again will I use Enterprise. Lots of other options out there. *MUSKEGON HENRY ST. LOCATION Absolutely terrible customer service. Scheduled a rental two whole weeks before I needed it. They called me THE DAY BEFORE PICK UP to tell me that the cost was going to be more than double what my confirmation email that came directly from enterprise said it would be, due to some recent contract change. Who even does that??? I'd go somewhere else if i were you. I was left with less than 24 hours to come up with another plan for my trip.
We had the best customer service from Jalen! He educated us about the car and made sure we knew all the enhancements the car had to offer. The car was clean and well cared for! Great experience!
Every agent I talked to was super helpful and nice. Only thing I was disappointed in, was enterprise disabled Android Auto. Which was a HUGE BUMMER.
Always a great experience when renting from Enterprise in Muskegon. The staff in knowledgeable about my preferences and helpful.
Had a car reserved for a week prior to pick up date, and when I showed up to get my rental they informed me that they had no vehicles available, and wouldn't until over a week later. The counter guys stated he sent me an email stating such before arrival but no such email was ever received.
Just had an excellent experience renting an Enterprise Rent-a-car from Muskegon to Detroit and back. I give the Muskegon office a ten out of ten rating. Thanks, especially, to Chase Steadman!
Great customer service from Juwaun, who always tries to resolve the disconnect between pricing and corporate accounts, or conflicts between customers and the staff. However, I certainly have had a staffer yell at me and get involved in a conversation that another staffer was already handling. ALL of the staff manager, representatives, detailing at this location need additional training in conflict resolution, and improved customer service experience. Being able to succinctly explain pricing structure of the rates, and the difference of how to earn points via the Enterprise/National Emerald Club plan vs the Enterprise Corporate plan is needed. The staff is clearly over-worked. They approach interactions on the defense, with assumptions about the customer, the customer's attitude, and without listening to the customer's issue. It is apparent that procedures need to be implemented to streamline the rental process. I consistently rent on a monthly basis across the country, and it never takes as long anywhere from another Enterprise or competitors to complete the transaction. Additionally I rent monthly when I visit here, and my process for renewing shouldn't take 25-35 minutes. Lastly, the Detailing Staff needs to pay more attention to the details! Ex: cleanliness, the odors cigarette, marijuana, rancid garbage, the oil changes, battery in the key fobs, tire rotations, and ensuring all fluids are full. Each time I rent, I have had to return because something was missing, or I've avoided vehicles because the cars smell disgusting like they have been sitting in a landfill.
