I’ve been renting cars from Enterprise at DIA for years. Like other Enterprise locations, they have amazing customer service, fast shuttles and are always well-staffed. However, this location always has the cars in the worst shape. I don’t know what it is, but from the economy car I rented to the tired-looking high-end luxury rentals in front, their entire fleet needs some TLC. Be sure to document everything before you drive away.
Update: $1,113 in damage. Brought the car back and was told it had hail damage. Four dents were “categorized” as hail damage. These were the size of the end of a pencil, a 10th the size of a penny. These guys went through a lot of trouble to find these. They took out a squeegee to look, a first for me. Note, no other “hail” damage was found on the car. What’s worst and one of the things I really hate about Enterprise is from the moment you get the keys, they rush you out without a thorough walk through of the vehicle. They say “look for anything the size of a golf ball”. They don’t say - look for anything the size of a goofball AND hail damage the size of the tip of a no 2 pencil. I would understand if the window was damaged or cracked or if there was noticeable damage but they are stretching with this one. Unbelievable. Advice: you should train your staff to ask customers to start looking for dents that small.
David was phenomenal! Since he saw we were 4 people with luggage and there weren’t many standard cars available, he gave us a free upgrade to an SUV <3 Also, there was a small crack in the floodlight they didn’t end up charging us for which was a relief since we weren’t sure if we caused it or not. Finally, all the pick-up and drop-off staff were super friendly even though it was 4 in the morning on a weekday. We love David!
I was extremely impressed with the quality of the service at the Denver Airport Enterprise facility. When we arrived at the location, the staff could not have been more helpful in providing us with a vehicle - Carson was absolutely incredible! When we returned the vehicle, I spoke with two different employees who were personable and pleasant. Travel can be stressful, but the staff at this location made the entire experience more enjoyable. Thank you!
I have been a customer of Enterprise for about 5+ years. I have had a bad experience with only one location of theirs in that entire time which is why I keep returning. This location sets the bar. When I arrived, the customer service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I was taken care of and put into a car within 20 minutes. The front desk agent was helpful and even provided a couple of places to visit since it was my first time in Denver. When I returned the car, it was an even simpler process. It probably took 5 minutes to complete the checkout process and my receipt was emailed to me. The quality of service I receive at Enterprise is why I always choose them.
My rental was a disaster. The first suburban I was given didn't have a functional Air conditioner. We quickly circled back to get a different vehicle. The exchange took around 30 minutes, making us late for our upcoming appointment. In the haste of switching suburbans, I left my favorite hat special to me in the original car. We pulled away and quickly realized I had left it but didn't have time to turn back. When I called to try and speak with the Enterprise facility that I had just left, the local manager told me that I needed to file a lost item report. I had literally just seen the manager in person ten minutes before and was simply asking her to go grab my hat from the suburban that I had just switched from. She refused and again stated that I needed to file a report online. Guess what...I filed the report and the hat was never found. Big surprise. Just ridiculous how inconsiderate people can be. All the manager had to do was take 3 minutes to walk into the parking lot and grab my hat and hold it until I returned a few days later. Simple customer service. And none of this would have happened if Enterprise would have put us in a functional car the first time.
The staff was friendly. Helped me get a rental fairly quick; a Audi q3. But the second day with the vehicle the windshield whippers stopped working while I was driving through a storm. It was pretty scary. As well the child safety locks were malfunctioning. When I told the rep about my issue they were helpful and provided a discount. This is the first time I’ve ever had an issue with enterprise but I think it was handled well. I would still use them in the future.
Car rental nightmare! I am extremely dissatisfied with the appalling level of service I received! The car provided to me was an absolute disaster. Not only did the engine repeatedly shut down while I was reversing, but the dashboard continuously displayed a "due service" warning. When I took the initiative to report this issue to customer service the following day, their response was absolutely unacceptable. They insisted that I either return the car to Denver airport, a staggering 70 miles away, or endure the inconvenience for the duration of my trip. To make matters worse, upon returning the car, the manager unjustly accused me of hail damage and conveniently prevented me from contacting customer service during the return process. Despite my efforts to reach out to customer service afterwards, they have utterly failed to provide any meaningful resolution. They made empty promises to investigate the matter but never bothered to follow up with me. Finally, after enduring this ordeal, I have been contacted by the damage recovery unit, who have now outlined the convoluted steps I must take to process my claim, will have to pay money$ for the hail damage issue which btw is not hail damage and was already existing at the time of renting car. To back my complain I have also attached image of engine issue. This entire experience has been a complete nightmare and extremely discouraging to do any further business with Enterprise. I will never rent another car from them again, and I am determined to share this abysmal experience with my friends and colleagues, urging them to steer clear of Enterprise Rental Agency and their deplorable business practices.
Excellent experience. Check-in took a bit of extra time. However, not the staff's fault. The staff was hit with a large amount of people at once. Once we got through the line, the individual who met us to get our car was professional and very courteous. Wish I had written down his name. We always enjoy Enterprise letting us select a vehicle with the same requested requirements. We chose a Ford Explorer with AWD. We were not at all disappointed. It met our every need. Wonderful comfort and driving experience. Vehicle return was extremely quick. Dustin immediately checked our vehicle in and and sent our final bill through email. Enterprise continues to impress me with its consistent focus on customer service. My recent two-week, 2500-mile rental provided a quality SUV with all the bells and whistles. From pick-up to drop-off communication was efficient and friendly. Despite the heat, the representatives were cheerful and upbeat and willing to do everything needed to get us on our way. A “lost” item was reported by us, recovered and shipped to us. Top quality service before, during and after the rental! I highly recommend Enterprise!
