I have used this this company numerous times to rent a car in New York as well as New Jersey but this location is the one that I actually like to get my cars from. The current manager there is beyond awesome. He is always polite,kind and can answer any questions I might have. He has helped me resolve a few issues with no problem at all. His customer service skills are impeccable and the other employees should follow his lead. If it could be guaranteed that he would handle my rental ever time I came in I would not go to any other spot for a rental. Really it’s the manager here that makes me a repeat customer. The location is a little weird I can understand why people might not be able to find it that easy. It is kinda tucked away on a little back road and shared the space with a car dealership/ garage.
I am satisfied with my experience with this company. At first I read the reviews and it alarmed me, but there was nothing to do that needed a car. When I arrived I got my car in 20 minutes. The $300 deposit was returned 5 minutes after I handed over the keys. The price is cheaper than TURO, so I will use it next time.
I always give this place a chance, but I’m just done with everything. I mean all the money that I dished out to rent a vehicle, and always an issue occurs with you guys. Rented the car for a road trip that never happened, because you all want to give a vehicle that didn’t even have an oil change, and other things that was addressed to you all that you never corrected. Did not even give me my whole deposit back, because I was told that the car was given back late, but it’s stated specifically that the rental was due back by 12:30 PM, so today I speak to Ronald, who I guess is the area general manager, and only offered me a $300 refund after spending so much money on this rental. Every time I spoke to him, he would cut me off, and he wouldn’t even let me speak, and no consideration whatsoever about why I had to go out of town. It seems like it was only about the money with them. Since they don’t want to make this right, I’m going to speak to an attorney now to get my refund in full. They always want to make you seem like the customers are the bad ones, and don’t want to admit there faults!! The regional manager is new, and really doesn’t know what he’s doing. I spoke to Jeanine today 8/31/2023 she basically ignored me, and decided to put me on hold, and put me on speaker phone to let everyone hear my conversation, and heard her laughing. This place is a total joke, and the cars they always leave filthy, and have no care to clean them the right way. Throwing water on the outside, and wiping down the inside is not a proper way of cleaning. How about vacuuming the cars when returned. Still no refund as of today, and the regional manager, as well as everyone else there are nothing but liars. These quick to take your money, but not do the right thing when they’re at fault. Update 9/4/2023: Now I have another regional manager calling me Tristan Facer. This guy has an attitude problem doesn’t know how to do his job, and rants about how he worked in Chicago etc. I don’t care about what you did. Then complains about me answering questions, so why ask me if you don’t want answers to them. They want to always offer you something to shut you up, but I’m still waiting for a full refund, and now I’m taking legal action against all of them, because they need to learn to listen to there customers first, and it seems they all stick together. Oh yeah also a knife was found in the seat in the back which I am bringing to the local news station about, and I’m putting them all on blast. All I want is my refund on full that’s it. Update: 9/5/2023 Messaged regional manager Tristan Facer and he doesn’t give 2 craps, and doesn’t respond to messages, and all he wants to do is talk about him working in Chicago, and all these places…. Like who cares for real. Just refund me, and we will move on with this.
Only car rental place in the immediate area so they manage to stay in business. Employees are nice. Expect to spend 30-40 minutes waiting for pick up. Expect to be charged for the deposit rather than a security hold like some more reasonable places do and wait 3-4 business days to get your money back.
I tried to return a vehicle on a Friday. I called the branch three times an no one picked up the phone. I needed to make sure I could get a ride back home. I called the customer service number and I was told the branch opens at noon on Saturday and I can return the vehicle that day. I called at 12:01 on Saturday only to find out that they close at 12 o’clock. Upon a second call to the 800 number I was told I would not be charged for Saturday or Sunday as long as I drop the car off first thing Monday. I did just that. I was then informed that they could not credit me for both days, and the 800 number gave me more incorrect information. They refunded one day of that weekend. I had to pay $50 because the 800 number did not know what they were talking about and the branch apparently could not be bothered picking the phone up on Friday. I am extremely frustrated and quite unhappy with the service of enterprise absolutely all around. I will absolutely not be using this branch again, most likely not the company at all.
Unlike the Enterprise in Middletown, I had a splendid experience. They explained everything and broke down each transaction and I didn't get ripped off of 100 dollars like the one in Middletown, New York. They can take some pointers from this location. The people were so kind and patient. They restored my faith in Enterprise.
Rolando was very helpful. Got to the office three hours early and he accomodated me. Warm personality. He's a keeper!

The Monticello branch has such an amazing service staff. They are knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, and always exude a positive attitude. From the moment you walk in for a rental or a return, they greet you with such pleasure. I work for the Nationwide Insurance office in the area and I love to also refer business to this branch with NO worries. To know our clients are handled in the same manor puts my job at ease. The service provided is truly appreciated and this is why I have felt the need to not only leave a review, but give them 5 stars!!! Great job Rolando & Nick your team is awesome!
This place is great the entire staff is courteous, friendly and extremely accommodating. Nick went above and beyond, was extremely helpful & knowledge. So getting there was challenging because I went the long way, no thanks to my GPS.. This place is actually closer than you think.. If you go to the resorts world Catskill, Monticello NY , set the GPS to Enterprise because, it's about approx. 2+ blocks away... Much closer... Thank you Nick and to the whole staff!
