I wish I could leave a 0 star review. All of the other reviews are reflective of our experience. Made reservations, received confirmation, checked in online early, called before we arrived to double check. No cars available, they had given our vehicle to another customer. Could not have been less concerned and just continued to reiterate that she couldn’t help, no available cars. Absolute unprofessional fiasco! EDIT TO RESPONSE - Ed - you have my name and phone number on file at your office from the reservation that you did not honor. You have the reservation, confirmation and early check in on file. Your office has my name and number from yesterday’s phone conversations. If you were truly concerned you could give me a call. You are the owner of the business. Your canned response exemplifies the lack of professional concern that your office employee displayed. Company culture starts at the top.
We had a reservation for a car to be picked up from the Manning, South Carolina location. We arrived at 3pm which was the time on our reservation to pick it up. When my husband and I along with our baby walked into the enterprise office a man sitting behind a desk asked if he could help us. We told him we were there to pick a vehicle up and that we had a reservation. He said “we have no vehicles”. I assumed he was being sarcastic so I said “you are joking, right?” He said “um, no...look outside do you see a vehicle?” My husband informed him we have had a reservation booked for a week and we have to have a vehicle. He said he informed his supervisor this morning that a vehicle was needing to be picked up but said his supervisor didn’t care. I asked if they could not have at least called or emailed to let us know. He said he was planning on it but he didn’t. No apology, no anything was given and we walked out. The absolute worst customer service we have ever received in our entire life. Absolutely appalling what took place. We rent vehicles all the time and will never rent from enterprise again. We did call the enterprise 1-800 number immediately asking if they could bring us a vehicle from another location and they wouldn’t do it. Absolutely be warned if you plan to use this location! *update months later* I have contacted EVERYONE at enterprise by phone, email and reviews and not ONE person has contacted me back. When they say “we will look into it further” they do not. We are now turning it over to legal action since they have been at our fingertips wanting this case. Nobody should be left outside stranded with a baby when they had a car rented for months prior. Enterprise is absolutely HORRIBLE!
Absolutely HORRIBLE Customer SERVICE!!! My mother made 2 car reservations which totaled 5 days. A couple of hours after picking up the car for her first reservation the car began to shake profusely as she was driving. Since this location had already closed for the day she drove the car home and returned the next morning to Enterprise to exchange the car out for another car. During this time, she was told by an employee because of yesterday’s inconvenience my reservation would be extended a day longer at no charge. She use the exchanged car for the duration of both reservations without any car problems. However, when she returned the car and was given her bill summary, she noticed that she had been overcharged for her second reservation with an additional $111.24. This was brought to the employee's attention and she was asked to give him a few days to process her return. However, a week later she had not been issued a refund so she went by Enterprise and was told once again to give them a few days and her refund would be issue. After giving them another week, she still had not been given a refund so she called their customer service and spoke with a representative. She was notified that the employee who added the extra day for the car inconvenience had not add the extra day correctly to my reservation, which is what lead to her being overcharged and the representative would try to resolve the matter and my mother should expect a call back from someone in a couple of days. But she never received that called back. To make this short, my mother have pleaded with the employee at this location for her refund as well as have given customer service a call 2 times and have gotten NOWHERE! It has now been 6 weeks since she have been trying to receive her refund of $111.24 and both she and I am dissatisfied and displeased with the poor service treatment from both Enterprise employees and customer service representatives. This is not the way to run a business nor treat your customers.Renting a car was my gift to my mother for her birthday and you guys have completely ruined it. Update 8 March 2016: An email were sent to the address the social representative listed below in response to my comment. The email was forwarded to the area manager, Timothy. He called my mom and told her that he had informed the employee at the location to refund her the money last time they talk however, the employee at the location employee only wanted to refund her the full amount minus $8. A phone conversation was had with the 3 of them together and the employee was informed to refund the entire amount, $111.24. 5 days later my mother was refunded $111 instead of $111.24. You would think after 7 weeks of being given the run around for your refund that you would be given the exact amount back and not shorted. It doesn't matter if it's 24 cents. Enterprise, choose your employees at this location more wiser and better so you can provided your customers with quality service. The 1 star rating will stay.
I reserved a rental through enterprise and told them I’m paying with a debit and not one time did the customer service rep told me anything on what I would need. Got a call saying I need two utility bills! I don’t have any utilities in my name. I’m a hardworking citizen and just wanted to rent a car so I could get my car fixed. I was totally surprised when I was told I couldn’t get a vehicle because of that. I will never try to rent a car from them in the future.
If I can give this place a -100 I would. The lady was very unprofessional and rude. She told me they didn’t have any cars. After I told her I was trying to reserve online. And she said oh well I am just filling in for someone. She never moved from her chair to help or anything. With a non caring attitude. Don’t waste your time
The is a horrible place to rent a car from my bother went online to make reservations for a car at the enterprise in Manning SC for 12 noon we get there the freaking place is close and when we try to call the number listed on the website it takes you through all of the prompts and make you select which department you want to be connected to only to get a fax line then you guys going to have the nerves the have that your Manning SC location is open until 5pm you are some bogus people to deal with if you don’t have any cars to rent and you’re not open then change that information on your website because too many people are making reservations under the assumption that you guys have the car in Manning SC to rent and they are also under the assumption that you guys are opened when you’re not so we wasted our gas and our time to Manning SC for no reason at all it’s uncalled for something needs to be done some type of action needs to takes place
I have no complaints. I made a reservation online and had no problems when I went to pick up the vehicle. The salesman was very courteous and polite. My visit was complete in under 30 minutes.
Agent called left message no car available trying to call them back like they asked me to do and the wait time is just disgusting!!! Agent answered phone and hang up I call back and waiting on hold forever only to be informed that my call can’t be transferred this experience is a nightmare !!!! Stay away from this fake phony company
This woman was 100% rude and unhelpful. My experience with her lack of communication has ruined any business me or anyone I know would have given to enterprise as a company.
Most polite, easy going, knowledgeable, customer friendly place around. I have rented twice both at last minute and each and every time they get me what I am looking for and as long as I need. Wouldn't go anywhere else to rent a vehicle.
