Extremely unsatisfied with local office and customer service line. Booked a rental, was not told I needed to come before a certain time. Arrived and it was canceled without a single car to book instead. My issue is that my card & contact information was file, why not contact your customers to confirm a no-show, especially when you don't have any cars to rent. Not proactive, too casual and "empathy" was not authentic.
I have used the Radford location many times and have always been pleased with their service and professionalism. They honor my corporate account with Virginia Tech, which is wonderful. My only complaint this time was the actual car--a Toyota Corolla-- which was a bit uncomfortable with no lumbar support, it hesitated on acceleration, and the cruise control did not work well. I don't see this as the rental agency site's fault but more the vehicle design. Next time I will try a different mid-sized car.
I've rented from this location twice so far this year, and have another vacation rental coming up in a month. I cannot stress enough how helpful, considerate, and friendly they are here. If you're lucky, Jordan will be there when you need a rental. This is the nicest, most professional and helpful young man I've encountered in forever! I hope his managers are reading this - give this guy a BIG RAISE! He's a true asset to your company! This office is located on site at Harvey's Chevrolet in Radford.
Jordan and Thomas were a pleasure to work with! I had to rent a car via my insurance after an accident and these two gentleman had my back though the entire process. My insurance extended my rental and told me it was all paid for. Thomas made sure to call and let me know about the extension but a portion of the extension was going to be outta my pocket. My insurance did not mention that part, but thanks to Thomas going out of his way to call me I was able to budget and return the rental within my budget. I even got confused on the day and was charged more then what I thought it was totally my misunderstanding, my fault so I called Jordan explaining the price I thought it would be, turned out I was wrong but Jordan so graciously refunded me anyways! They even complimented the condition of the truck when I brought it back and gave me my deposit back too! Enterprise in Radford, VA is the ONLY place to get a rental! 10/10

Jordan was amazing to work with. He made the rental experience with an insurance claim very easy literally handed me the keys and paperwork as I arrived. I highly recommend working with him
So with a explanation of why I gave such a low score you must first understand dynamics. I try very hard to give an unbiased opinion but Enterprise has created their own mess by not following certain criteria they could/should have taken into account. First with the Pandemic. Accounts for car rentals bottomed out because nobody was renting cards, flying on planes or traveling anywhere. Then came the return. Now with still an observation that Coronavirus still present the US has tried to bounce back for a Full return. In between those times Enterprise sold an over abundance of vehicles at below cost prices to unload used vehicles to the public. And now the conclusion. The mess Enterprise has created is even BIGGER than before. People have rental needs and no vehicles to rent. Even if you have a reservation it does not matter. They cannot fulfill the order of supply & demand. It's understandable. But now do you know the customer are not Happy with the company? Well they are. So chalk it up to Observation of what not to do next time. Thank You and Hopefully the review helps.

Out of 4 reservations ive made online or through the 800 number this enterprise office has canceled 3. The fourth onw after I reserved a particular car it was about the size not the model or brand the enterprise agent tried to convince me that a Mitsubishi Mirage was bigger than the full size vehicle i had reserved ‍, also after I pressed for the type of vehicle i had reserved i got it, only for it to have scratches, dents, crumbs and stains on the front and back seats as well as an empty cigarette pack found by my kids... . I did call and reportes thid and i was told i was going to be given a discount which it didnt happen when I returned it.
Top notch service! I had to get unplanned repairs on my company vehicle. No enterprise locations nearby had spare vehicles at the time but the manager at this location went the extra mile to let us know he'd have some returns that afternoon and would call when he knew for sure. He called a bit later and delivered on the promise!! Also they agreed to drive me back to my car when it was fixed and it was well out of their normal delivery range. Will be using this location for all my rental needs moving forward.
